I watched him as he pulled it closer to his mouth, his green eyes gleaming. He squinted as he took another drag letting out three white beautiful curls of smoke escape. Three innocent white curls of smoke. I watched it as it disappeared into the air. It was funny how something so innocent and clean could just be erased like that. It reminded me of Blaze. I hesitated as he took a pause and inserted the cigarette back into his mouth, carrying on this ritual. He was cold. I could tell. His hands were going frostbite blue, his green veins standing out the most. His green veins. They were individually beautiful, I felt to trace every single vein on his hand with my finger, but I couldn't. I maintained the temptation as I used my bitten gritty fingernails to dig into my palms, stopping myself. He seemed so far away from here, lost in his thoughts; depending on this one cigarette like it was giving him the energy to live. I held my breath trying to inhale as much oxygen as I could before breathing it out again imitating him, trying to find out what the big deal was, but yet nothing.
