Unplanned and Arranged

PROLOGUE

My name is Heather Sanders, I am 24 years old, I just graduated college, and I now live in an apartment, and I work at a small office downtown. I honestly think that my life is treating me well right now. I don’t care that I am single, I love being single, my parents constantly push me to meet someone, but I am just not ready to settle down. The last time I settled down, I lost my virginity, and I had a pregnancy scare.  It was a HUGE wake up call. After that relationship, all men were scum to me.

I have long, wavy brown hair, my body is pretty slim, and I’m good looking to most people.  Samantha, Sam for short, is my best friend. We've been friends since freshman year. We are inseparable, and we went through everything together. Sam has been dating Scott for over 2 years now; things are starting to get serious between them. Sooner or later, I have a feeling they are going to get married, and leave me all alone.  It’s actually starting to get depressing seeing them lovey-dovey all the time. Maybe...just, maybe it’s time for me to put myself on the market again?

Looks like I spoke too soon, my phone lit up indicating I had a text message, it was from my mom. The message read,

     "hey hun! I miss you lots! got a boyfriend yet? hahah, if thats a no stop by the house please, we gotta tlk, its real imprtnt!"

I sighed with frustration as I read the text, I hated visiting my parents because anytime I went, they always scolded me about not settling down and boring stuff like that. The last time I visited my parents, they tried "hooking me up" with the next door neighbors son who looked like a complete nerd, and only liked me for my boobs.

I grabbed my purse and keys, and went out of my apartment, to my car. I wonder what they are going to think of this time, I thought to myself.

Authors Note: Hey to whoever is reading this!  I hope you like this! It is my FIRST story EVERRR on wattpad, I don’t think it’s very good, I might keep going for a few chapters, but after that, if no one motivates me, I might stop . :P To anyone who is reading this, please tell me what you think.
