Chapter 4

"What do you mean your NOT a rouge" asked Blade, who I learned is the pack's alpha and also the wolf that saved me from the hunter.

"Well, technically I am, but I ran away from my pack a couple of days ago, I didn't know where I was going. I just kept running. I'm sorry if I caused a problem I can leave with no harm intended." I say.

"Where are you planing on going to if I let you go?" Blade asks

"Um.....I'm not sure...I just want to get as far away from my old pack." I reply.

"Why are you running away?" he asked.

"Lets just say I wasn't liked in my old pack."

"What did you do?" Blade asks.

"I was born" I say plainly, he gives me a confused look, "It doesn't matter....I...I just need to get out of here please." I plead

"There's more to your story tell me...or I won't let you leave." Blade said looking at me with a serious expression.

My face drains from its color "Umm, there's nothing else to say, except for the fact that my mate rejected me...b-but that's not important." I finish nervously.

"Your mate rejected you!?" He says surprised. I nod. "And you say that's not important!?" I nod again.

"Now about me leaving....can I go now?" I ask.

"No"

"Please...I have to leave I don't belong here." I plead.

"No"

"What!? Why!?" Annoyance clear in my  voice.

"Because....I want you to join my pack."

"What?" I said, shocked, "I can't join your pack..I-I'm useless....all I am is a problem." I try to reason with him.

"Jake your not useless no one is." He says looking at me "You're here for a purpose everyone is."

I sigh maybe it won't be that bad...I get to meet new people...start all over...that's  why I left wasn't it? To start all over? "I left to start over and this is my chance...." I say.

"So is that a yes?" Blade asks.

"Um...yeah that's a yes." I say with a smile. Relieved that I no longer have to keep running.

"Welcome to the Victoriam Pack" Blade says with a matching smile.
