Chapter 2: Thirsty

Tenson cleared his throat uncomfortably. Loki and I broke apart.

''Let's get going,'' Tenson said. We started walking, I felt Loki's hand touch mine. I looked at him and connected our hands together. He smiled and we continued our journey. At this time I wish Loki wouldn't have cheated on me because I want to fuck the hell out of him.

''How long does it take to get back?'', I asked.

''4 days on foot and 2 days if we shift,'' Loki said.

''Let's shift then- oh never mind, you guys shift and Sambar and I will follow you,'' I said. I had forgotten I couldn't shift anymore. The vampire venom had completely killed off my werewolf.

''I don't want to leave you, baby,'' Loki said, making my heart melt.

''Loki, just go. I'm a vampire we're fast,'' I said.

''Yeah, but your pregnant,'' he said.

''I'll be fine, go on,'' I said.

''Okay,'' he said. He leaned down and I stopped him.

''We aren't there yet,'' I said. He nodded his head and shifted into his wolf. He howled at me before he took of running.

''C'mon let's show them we're faster,'' Sambar smirked. I smiled and we started running in vampire speed. I saw that we passed Loki and Tenson on the way. I kept running fast even though my back was hurting.

''Are you okay?'', Sambar asked. I nodded my head. We kept running and then my water broke. I came to a halt.

''Did you just pee on yourself?'', Sambar asked.

''No, my fucking water just broke,'' I said. Loki and Tenson came by us. They shifted back.

''What happened!'', Loki asked startled.

''My water broke. We need to hurry up and get out of here,'' I said. Tenson and Loki looked at each other.

''You and Sambar can help. You guys can make a portal straight home, if you think hard enough,'' Loki said.

''But Sambar is from Spain, he doesn't know about Louisiana,'' I said.

''Shit! Then I'll help you,'' Loki said. We joined hands and I kept thinking about home. My children, the pack, the hot Louisiana weather.

''It's working,'' I heard Loki say. I felt myself become lighter.

''Hold on to us!'', Loki yelled. I felt Sambar and Tenson come by. I felt more and more lighter then I opened my eyes. I was finally home! Fuck! I held onto my stomach as the painful contractions started.

''Let's get you to the pack doctor,'' Loki said as he picked me up. He ran to the pack doctor and the whole entire time I was screaming bloody murder.

''She's in labor,'' Loki said as he sat me down in the table.

''No, no. We don't service vampires,'' The pack doctor Phil said.

''She's your Luna. I command you to help her!'', Loki yelled. The pack doctor's eyes widened.

''Yes alpha,'' he said. The for the bed made and hooked me up to IVs.

''Loki, it hurts!'', I cried. It felt like someone was stabbing me over and over again. To make matters worse, I was hungry again. I felt my fangs extract. I needed blood.

''Loki,'' I groaned. He came closer. I tilted his head and bit down on his neck. He screamed a little before he moaned in pleasure. I closed my eyes in content as his sweet blood trickled down my throat. I bit down deeper and more blood flowed. I pulled away and my fangs retracted.

''Did you get all you need?'', Loki asked, his eyes still glazed over.

''That will do good for now,'' I said. He nodded his head. The doctor came in.

''Wait. Since Gwen was turned while she was pregnant does that mean the baby will be a vampire?'', Loki asked.

''It would be a hybrid, but one of it's..forms will be more dominant,'' the doctor said, looking at me like I was crazy. I was starting to feel very unwelcome here.

'Let's kill him.'' I heard a voice say. I'm guessing it was my vampire.

'No, we can't.''. I told her.

''Can we get a nurse to see if she's dilated yet?,'' Loki asked.

''The nurses...are busy,'' the doctor said. He looked over at me in disgust. I bared my fangs.

''I want to go somewhere else,'' I said.

''Babe this is the only hospital that can help us given our circumstances,'' Loki said.

''I don't care. I rather have my baby in a forest than be judged,'' I said.

''Luna I did not mean to make you uncomfortable,'' The doctor said.

''Whatever. I'm ready to pop this baby out,'' I said.

''I need to see if your dilated,'' The doctor said. He lifted up the sheets.

'''Your definitely dilated. I see the baby's head,'' He said.

''Push,'' he said. I pushed with all my might and the baby came flying out. I heard her cries.

''Good job,'' the doctor said surprised. He gave Loki the scissors and he cut the umbilical cord. I started pushing again. The placenta came out. The nurses came in and cleaned off the baby. They wrapped her up and handed her to me. She was gorgeous. Her bright green eyes opened and looked around.

''I can't believe she's here,'' Loki said smiling.

''You want to hold her?'', I asked. He nodded his head and I passed her over into his arms. He smiled as he rocked her back and forth.

''So we agreed on Alanis Anna Adams?'', I asked.

''No she doesn't look like an Alanis she needs a more special name,'' Loki said. I rolled my eyes. This was gonna be a long day.
