                                                                 Chapter One

          Sydney's P.O.V.

I pulled a black hoodie over my head. I already had on my black jeans to complete the outfit. Today was my first day at a new school. It was the middle of the year and I'll be starting high school today. Imagine that. Being new and all in a strange place with no knowing of anything or anyone. I sighed. Today was going to be awkward.

I walked over to my make up table and took out the concealer. I covered the bruise on my face that was right on my left cheek. My father punched me there just because he thought that the food I made yesterday for dinner was too spicy. He was abusive. Ever since after my mother's death, he just wasn't the same guy anymore. He's not the charming and nice man he used to be. He became abusive and that all started a few years ago.

I would've moved out if I can but my brother was all I have left and I couldn't leave him here with this monster that used to be my father. Ace was only four years old and I sixteen. I wasn't legal enough to look after Ace myself and not old enough to do anything without my father's concern or approval.

I picked up my bag that was laid on my bed. I looked around my room which is less equipped than a normal home. My walls were painted a light crème color; I have a single bed that was pushed to the corner of the room. I only have a small cupboard to fill all my clothing which only consists of a few hoodie, t-shirts and jeans. That's all I wear for my whole life.

Knowing I was going to be late I grabbed my bag and exited my room. I walked down the stairs carefully looking out for glass pieces that can be from beer bottles. Forgot to mention this, my father's also an alcoholic.

I walked into the kitchen and saw Ace sitting on the stool eating a piece of bread. We were poor no lies since my father quit his job and I had to find a job myself to support my brother. His blond hair was messy and his blue eyes dull. I can see the purple bruise that had formed on his jaw clearly. It disgusts me that our father could just beat up his children like that. I, for sure can handle it but Ace is only four years old. That's just sick.

"Morning, Ace." I said and went to the fridge to get a bottle of water. That was all I get a day, a bottle of water. At least it's better than nothing.

"Morning, sissy." he said back. Since he was only four years old, he didn't need to go to school yet. There's still one more year till he starts school.

"I'm going to school now. Make sure to lock yourself in your room before he wakes up. If he managed to open the door, run out the room and climb down the stairs, got it?" I told him. He nodded his head in understanding. I kissed his forehead and left.

The school was a five minutes’ walk from home. It kind of cold that day as I hugged my hoodie closer to my body trying to trap my body heat. I was nervous. What if no one likes me? What if there is a queen bee always wants to make my life hell?

The sun was shining bright in the sky. School starts at 8 so I have around 50 minutes left after I reached school. The neighborhood was kind of nice. Everyone was just so friendly to each other not that I know of since my father threatened me to not speak a word to anyone unless in school when a teacher ask a question.

I used to deny his orders and he would take the knife and start cutting me. After a few times of being cut I learned my lesson and just kept quiet. The scars were memories of my childhood even though it's all bad memories but they still are memories.

I didn't notice that I had arrived at school. I looked around the place to inspect the new school I'll be spending my next years in.

         Cyril's P.O.V.

"CYRIL!!!!!! GET DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!" I could hear my mom shouting from downstairs. Today was the starting of a new year at Stenlant High. I was going to be a senior and as the captain of the football team.

"Alright, Mom!" I shouted back. I straightened my white button down and dark jeans to get rid of wrinkles. Nothing’s better than first day of school of a new year. Note the sarcasm. I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder. My phone was already stuck in my pocket and it kept on vibrating. It must be Mia and her whinny ass.

She couldn’t get it to her thick head that we were just friends with benefits and she kept on telling everyone that we’re dating. Like hell I’ll date someone like her. I haven’t even gotten my first girlfriend yet and sure as hell it won’t be her.

“Bye, Mom!” I shouted as I ran out the front door. I pulled out my key and stuck it into the ignition. My parents bought me a mustang for my birthday last year and it has been my baby since, not that anyone doesn’t know.

I put on my seat belt and sped off to school. I went over the speed limit which I don’t care. It’s not like I’m going to get pulled over or anything. The whole town is full with werewolves and I being the alpha’s son have its perks.

Oh yeah I’m a werewolf if you haven't get that yet.

So how was it? Good? Bad? I really like to thank my friends, teachers and family for supporting me. I've always like to write and read when I have time. So this is my first story on this very account. It might not be good but I can't guarentee anything. So bli bla blu that's all I guess. Check out the next chapter I'll be posting soon.
