"Elspet?"

Grant was perched upon the edge of the goose down bed. Green eyes worried as his betrothed breathed shallowly.

The dark haired beauty twitched slightly.

"Elspet?"

A soft wiggle of a nose.

"Let me try.." Someone else mumbled.

"Ellie...wake up Ellie.. dammit wake up you dramatic wench!"

"Hamish! really? that was your big solution insult her into waking up?"Braigh thumped his lover softly in the head

"Usually she slaps me I was assuming it would be a natural response, like fight or flight?" Hamish chimed charmingly as he nuzzled Braigh softly seeking forgiveness.

Braigh merely groaned in exasperation.

Grant ignored the two lovers to brush a sweaty strand of hair from her face.

Hamish suddenly straightened up and turned to his warrior excitement written across his face.

"Give me ye sock"

"Excuse me?"

Hamish thumped Braigh in between his eyes.

"Give me ye sock"

Braigh groaned once again but nevertheless bent over to tug of his brogue and then his worn wool sock. He had learned very quickly not to argue with the blind spitfire.

Braigh uncurled Hamish's awaiting finger and placed the sock within their clutches.

The slim lad grinned like the town fool before feeling his way towards Elspet's bed side.

The warrior laird looked at him strangely but moved aside all the same.

Hamish chuckled manically before thrusting the sweaty sock into his friend's face.

The two warriors looked on curiously and at first there was nothing.

But it was not nothing for long.

Suddenly the previously sleeping beauty shot up from the bed and began to make horrendous retching sounds.

Braigh burst into pure laughter as Grant looked thoughtful.

"Hamish I am going to choke ye throat!!"

"Only Braigh gets those privileges darling"
