Chapter One- Who ARE They?!?

"Come on Sev!" I yell chasing my cousin around the house. He sprints like his life depends on it. Which it doesn't. I jump on his back and shake the bottle in my hand.Then I spray it on his head.

"Ah!" Severus screams throwing me off his back and I slide into the door. Well I was supposed to. Instead I slid into Lily who had opened the door. Sev was running in circles like a chicken with its head chopped off.

"Severus Tobias Snape! It is just dry shampoo!" I stamp my foot and cross my arms, pretending to be outraged. Lily giggles at my attempt to get rid of my cousin's grease. Seriously, I wouldn't doubt it if he got teased in school. He spazzes some more and then realizes him rubbing his head is rubbing it in. My genius of a cousin right there.

"Thanks Sev." I say rubbing his head, again. He playfully glares at me as I hook arms with Lily. "Time for Diagon Alley!" Lils and I yell and Sev shakes his head at us before grabbing the floo powder. Then we're off.

...

"So tell me about the other students. Someone different from your best friends. I wanna know about everyone" I say as we stroll down Diagon Alley. They had already told me all their best friends and such but I can tell they'e hiding someone from me.

"Oi it's Evans and Snivellus!" A male voice rings out from behind us. Sev and Lily tense up. Look like I'm about to find out. LIly pulls me into Madame Malkin's Robes for all Occasions. Through the window I see three boys approach my cousin. Two had black hair, one's was messy and he wore glasses while the other's was curly and he had pretty grey eyes. The third had scars across his face and sandy hair. The second boy looked inside the shop and Lily pulled me behind a rack of robes.

"Get your robes fitted Alex." Lily says and I nod and do just that. I finish and go to walk back to Lily and Sev when I hear someone say a famiiar spell.

"Levicorpus." Sev and I created that spell. How come it wasn't him I heard say it? In fact the person that flew into the air happened to be Severus. I hear laughter and Lily yelling for the person to put him down. I sneak over there and, while hiding in the racks, see the three boys from earlier bullying Sev. One of them would pause in his laughing to ask out Lily, one would just laugh and carry on, and the last looked constipated, like he didn't really want to be doing this. I take my wand out of my boot, place my mask that conceals my identity on my face and walk out of the racks.

"Put him down please." I say falsely sweet. The three boys turn around and see me standing there. Two of them smirk but the third studies me, like my identity is something he needs to know. We make eye contact for a split second but I can't get distracted by guys now. I have to help my cousin.

"Who are you?" One of the smirking boys asks. He's the guy with curly black hair. He looks me up and down, taking in my floral dress that reaches midthigh and three inch wedges that still don't get Lily's height.  I'm short I know, no need to rub it in life. I mean compared to me these guys were HUGE. I barely reach the shoulders of the one talking now and the other black haired boy. The last guy, the one studying me with his golden brown eyes, was even taller than them, I barely reach the middle of his chest. And I'm wearing heels. No fair, he should give me some of his height.

"None of your business now drop him before it gets ugly." I state sternly. I had used a spell on the mask that concealed my voice. Can't have anyone figuring out who I am can I?

"You can't make things ugly babe, let us see you?" He flirts and I resist the urge to barf. I lift my wand and turn it into a Durmstrang staff. I hit him across the chest, causing him to fall into a rack, which collapses around him, creating the perfect trap. The boy annoying Lily sees his friend on the  ground and yells out, "SIRIUS!" He begins to run over to 'Sirius' but stops when he sees me.

"This midget beat you up?" He asks and Sirius frowns. "James don't get her angry." He warns.

"Yes James, don't get me angry." I say jumping up and kicking my leg so I land in a flip. When I straighten up I'm directly in front of 'James' and I lift my staff and strike the ground. Sparks shoot from the end and I smirk before holding it in a offensive stance, prepared to strike. He looks a bit uncomfortable when I say, "We don't want to get hurt now do we James?"

"Drop him now." I say like one would say to a disobedient child. He seemed offended by my tone. Good. He should be offended. No one messes with Sev. Except me of course!

James helps Sirius up and they leave along with the last guy. I laugh then run away and take off my mask. The thing about the mask is it changes my entire appearance but my eyes. It even changes my voice so I can be properly disguised. Look out Hogwarts, a new prankster is on the way.
