Forbidden

Chapter 2

Flashing lights to the point i'm almost blinded, I step out of the SUV and onto the red carpet of the premiere. Claudia takes my hand as I help her out of the vehicle, we're both then surrounded by people helping us make our way down the long velvet carpet. 

I look around for Jen, but still no sign. Right as I turn my head back, a car pulls up. "There she is!" screamed a fan from the side. "The girl on fire!, thats our mockingjay!" "Jennifer!" screams the rest of the fans. One catches their eye on me "and Josh is here! Our Peeta Mellark! He's here!" The crowed is going crazy after this point. Claudia turns to me "I'll see you inside Josh, have fun!" she kisses me on the check then leaves. I can hear the crowed talk about Claudia being with me, they've never been huge fans of her and I together. Now i'm not to sure if i'm a fan of us anymore either.

I catch a glimpse of Jen from the corner of my eye. I caught myself gazing upon her beauty. She was wearing a beautiful long white gown, with red lips. I always loved her with red lips, it brings out her eyes so much more.  "Jen! You look absolutely stunning!" wrapping my arms around her, we come together and it just feels so right. 

"Look at you Joshy, you always know how to stun the crowd, don't ya!" she's still hugging me. 

We break free to go and sign photos, and take pictures with many fans. I always admired how into it Jen gets, it's almost calming for her. She always tries her best to make sure everyone is happy, and can go home with something to remember from her. 

Jen started her interview almost right after mine, it was a pretty routine interview. Asking me all the standard questions "Are you sad it's all ending", "what's your favourite scene from the movies?", and my favourite "What's going to happen to Joshifer"

I always tell them the same thing "I met my best friends while doing these movies, and nothing can keep us from being friends, I mean we do live right next to each other" then I smile, wave and walk back to the rest of the cast. Sam, Liam, and I like to joke around while waiting for each other to finish interviews. "I see Jens done now" Liam looks at me. "they're signalling me over for mine, see you guys inside." Liam is already walking away before he finishes his sentence'

"Josh It's time to go inside, I hear there's going to be food in there" I hear Jens voice from behind me. 

"Food?! thank god i'm starving" my stomach growls at the thought of food, I was so caught up in this mornings conversation I must have skipped breakfast. "Let's get in there then, before we both die from hunger." I say while grabbing Jen. We both run up the stairs, right as we get to the top Jen stops. "See I can climb stairs without falling" Jen say while giving the finger to the press, " you all doubted me, but here we are! haha" Laughing now, she grabs my arm and we walk inside.

The inside is well done, just like all the other premieres. This is just an after party for the cast, and special guest to talk about The Hunger Games, and how far we've come.  Jen, Liam, and I usually sit at the same table with our plus one.  As Jen and I walk towards our table, I see Claudia sitting there with Liam, and Sam. She quickly gets up, and greets me with a kiss on the lips. "I've been waiting for you guys! How was it out there?" she asks as we all sit, Jens to my right and Claudia to my left. "Amazing, like always" Jen says as we all start to look at todays menu, looks like we're going to be having chicken. 

"The fans are amazing, they've supported us through so much" she say, still reading the paper place in front of her. "I remember when Josh and I did Paradise Lost, the fans we're so supportive. It's amazing"  the food finally reaches us just as the conversation starts to die out. 

We finish our meals just as they announce that the movie will be starting soon. For all the fans that came out tonight this is a huge deal, this is the first time they'll see the new movie before it's actually released. This will be the first time Claudia see's the new movie as well, she's actually really excited to see the last instalment of the trilogy. She just as much of a fan of the movies, as anyone else that came tonight, and just as excited to see the film. I feel her hand grab mine after the announcement was made. "This is it Josh! This is where it all ends! I don't know if I can handle it, you'll have to hold my hand throughout the whole thing! Okay?"  "Okay" I mumble.

My stomach drops as I start to think about her, about how I wish it was her fingers wrapped about mine. Bringing us that much closer, until we can finally be together. Alone. Away from all the lights, people, somewhere we can just be ourselves. 

I need to talk to Jen, if not now then when will the time come again. I lean over to Jen "Once the movie starts, want to meet me in the lobby? I have to talk to you about something important" I whisper into her ear. "of course!" she whispers back. 

Everyone is starting to get settled to watch the movie. I let Claudia know i'll be right back, I'm just going to talk to Jen for a minute. She nods, and continues to stare at the screen.

Jen and I both get up at the same time and walk towards the door and out to the lobby. There still too many people out here. "Want to go somewhere a little more privet?" as I point to the stairwell. "Of course!" we both head towards the door.

"What is it Josh? What's up?" I can tell she's concerned for me, her eyes are so big and blue. 

This is it.... it's now or never...
