"Babe!" She said laughing nudging my shoulder. "Change the station. You know I hate country." She said, her smile wide, as I turned, to look over at her. She had her hand going through her blonde hair pushing it back, as the wind blowed. She was laughing singing along with the radio as the country music blasted on this empty road. SHe was the most amazing beautiful woman on this planet.
"We'll have a house party, we don't need nobody" she sang at the top of her lungs nodding her head with the beat. As I moved my hand to change the station she said, "Please babe. I love this song." ,turning her head giving me puppy dog eyes and that pouting face that I couldn't say no to.
"Fine." I said jokingly "we'll wake up all the neighbors till the whole block hates us..." I joined in, singing along to Sam hunts song.
"See? You do like country" she said nudging me playfully "your just to embarrassed to admit it." SHe teased.
" no babe" i answered, looking at the beautiful woman beside me. "I hate country, but I love you. And I love seeing you happy. Because when you're happy, I'm happy."
"I love you to babe. For ever and always." SHe said pecking my cheek, her soft lips touching my face.
"Forever and always." I answered.

This was so perfect. Sure I used to be a man whore, to say the least. I slept with every girl  I laid my eyes on, trying to charm and flirt with them. I did drugs, and drank with out stopping. I got high to the point of no return, and drunk as much as I possibly could whenever I could. But then it all changed. The way I looked out in life changed. Because of her.
In my senior year of high school I found the girl of my dreams. Sara lance was the most incredible girl I had ever known. I was at Starbucks one day after foot ball practice, waiting in a long line of people. I was tired and impatient. It had been a rough practice, I was unfocused and dropping passes beucase I was so hungover firm the night before. my coach yelled at me in front of the whole team. I was the captain and was suposed to be a role model, I had let the team down. Frustrated with the overly long line, I looked up from my phone for a second, to try to tell people hurry up, but before is could say anything I saw her out of the corner of my eye. I had no idea that this would be the day my life would Change forever.
SHe was laughing and smiling big, her Starbucks apron on, behind the cash register, as she wrote down people's names on the red holiday cups, taking orders. So as the line got shorter in front of me and I got closer to her I was mesmerized. SHe was gorgeous, and for the first time in my life I was nervous to talk to a girl. SHe had blonde hair, darker at the roots, put up in a messy bun, she had green eyes and a contagious smile
When she asked me for my drink order, I got a peppermint mocha absent mindedly, as I stared at how beautiful she was, and for the first time in my life I didn't consider her hot, or sexy, no, she was beautiful. She smiled and said "that's my favorite." and by the end of our short conversation, I had learned her name, and she had learned mine. When she handed me my change for my drink, I instantly put it all in the tip jar. She looked up at me and said thanks, and I answered with a simple "of course" and a huge smile on my face.
I ended up staying at that Starbucks until the end of her shift, and we talked for a while. SHe seemed different then all the other girls I had ever met, she seemed genuine and sweet. I got the courage and  asked for her number. I texted her that same day. And from then on we texted a lot. Then calling. Then longer calls until i asked her out and She said yes. From that moment, I knew this was the girl I was gonna love for the rest of my life.
Together we took on Yale University, as under grad students, somehow both of us being accepted. It was our junior year as full time students and we were living the dream.
It's been 3 years since the day I met her and I have loved her every moment since.

I bring this up because, right now I was driving us to a restaurant, to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. The anniversary of when we first met, the most special day of my whole life. But today was different then any other anniversary. Beucase I was also planning on asking the most important question of a mans life. I was going to ask her to marry me. I had contemplated it for so long. And I decided I was sure that she was the one.
"So babe, you still haven't told me why you're so nervous." She said noticing me  tap my fingers against my thigh, something I always did when I  was nervous.
"It's a surprise. You'll love it. I promise" I  said quickly, smiling.
"I'm going to hold you to that" she responded.
I turned to look at her, I looked at the girl that I loved more than anything else, the girl who completed me, and kissed her. I kissed her hard. And it was beautiful. Until I heard a loud crash, a quick thud, and everything went dark.
