Her love for him was endless,
His love for her was dying,
She could see it in his eyes,
But she kept on trying,
She refused to let him go,
She didn't want it to end,
He was slipping away from her,
She didn't want just "friends"
Eventually he felt no love,
But stayed with her anyway,
She knew, but she refused to let,
All that time go to waste,
She tried to make him fall back in love,
But nothing seemed to change,
It seemed everything but love, stayed the same,
He finally decided to break it off,
She let the ring he gave her drop,
She realised that it was hopeless,
That she really needed to stop,
They said goodbye,
He left her there,
Regretting that he,
Only pretended to care,
She got home,
And put a blade to her wrist,
Made a mess of blood,
And wished she didn't exist,
She wasn't satisfied,
She couldn't lie,
Finally she realised that,
She wanted to die,
She scribbled a note,
And signed her name,
Then killed herself,
Tired of the Life Game,
His chest hurt,
And he was in a horrible state,
How could he have let,
A girl like her go to waste?
He sat thinking,
And realised he loved her still,
But that was after,
They found her will,
He blamed himself,
And cried for a while,
Before thinking of,
A new coping style,
He couldn't live without her,
So he found something else instead,
Love has taken its toll,
And left two people dead.
