Johns POV
I wake up and Jessica wasn't next to me. I looked around and heard someone outside. I saw Jessica outside in the cold with no sweater on what-so-ever and I grabbed a sweater of mine and went outside. I knew my parents were looking at me. So I kept my distance. But I stayed a little close
Jessica's POV
"Here put it on" I heard john say
I turned around and saw him with a sweater of his. It looked warm so I put it in. It was maroon and was soft
"Thank you" I said and just went back to work
"What about you? Where's your sweater" I asked and looked at him
"Your wearing it" he said and smiled
"Oh . . . what a gentleman" I smiled at him then looked away back to working with the work that belonged to the elderly then last I would work on the children's work
"Jessica you have to stop working on the others work" he said and put his hands in his pockets
"John I'm doing this because I care about the elderly. They're weak and old. They can't be working all week 24/7" I said and looked at him
"Yes I understand but Jess. You have to take brakes as well" he grabbed the food away from me and grabbed my hands
"See your getting blisters and your skin is peeling" he said getting ice from the cold food and put it in a bag near by and put it on some rang and then put it in my hands
"Sit down I'll do it for you" he said grabbing a chair and I had to sit or else john would exaggerate
"John do you even know what your doing?" I asked
"Jess I work too. Don't think that I just lay around" he said looking at me with a mad face
"I didn't mean it in that way but okay" I said looking down at my hands
"No Jess" he put the food down and pulled the chair out and just looked at me "I'm sorry I didn't mean to be mean or take the attitude out on you. I'm just mad that you always do things for other but get nothing in return" he said putting his hands on my knees
"My parents are looking at us right now. That's why I'm acting like this. I wish I could kiss you but I can't" he said then I looked at him then I got out of the chair and just stood and looked at the window and they were looking at us
"John!" I smacked him on the shoulder "ow" I said then continued "why didn't you tell me in the first place!" I said freaking out
He started to laugh "chill 'ax Jessica. Its not like they know that we are together" he said jokingly
"Wait we're a thing? I think we were just the villager and the kings son that have to keep it a secret!" I said shocked
"Jess. I'm pretty sure that if people kiss. Play with each other. Flirt with each other. And sleep in the same bed at times. And you seen me without a shirt on and I've seen you just in a towel I'm pretty sure were a thing now" he winked at me when he got to the towel part and I blushed
"I wish I could slap you right now. That wasn't cool john! You already know my size to my undergarments!" I yelled and started smacking him with the wet towel
"Ow!" He said and grabbed the towel and hit me with it but just 2 times and I hit him like 10 times.
"Its so hard not to kiss you when your being so cute" he said
"Too bad your parents are looking at us playing around" I said and we both looked at the window and they were video taping everything.
"Wow you have great parents" I said to him and he just threw the cold water at me
"OH MY GOD JOHN!!! YOUR SO DEAD!" I yelled at him because it was already 46°F and he just threw ice cold water at me!!
I used the bag of ice and spilled it on him. Now he had messy hair. I went on his back and rubbed myself on him making him even colder. Once there was a breeze I was just shaking like crazy but john just laughed at me
"I grabbed the towel. Held it at both ends and just turned it and smacked it at john several times and once he grabbed the towel he had grabbed me and just put my whole body in the barrel with the ice cold water in it. And my god i swear to god i was going to die!!
"John!!!!!" I yelled and just grabbed into him making me look like a koala holding onto him and i wrapped my legs around him and arms around his neck. I was so cold. John was just hugging me and told me that i cant get him back.
"I got off of him and just ran to the ocean. I ran to the sand. This times i took my shoes off and socks. I went to the water and john followed me
"Its 46°F why are you in the water!" He smiled at me
"Just come i wanna show you something cool" I said and went further in the water
"Okay hold up" he took off his shoes and socks and now we were far from his parents and the campus.
"What did you wanna show me?" He asked standing next to me
"Look bend down and look right there" he was stupid enough to do it and I pushed him down. Now he was completely wet. But then he grabbed my legs from under the water and made me fall in as well
I went on his back and he just fell back on purpose.
"I wish we could live like this" I said to him and just stood in front of him. Its was 7:00am and the sun was barely making its way out of the clouds
"I wish that too but sometimes we can't get the things we wants he said and smiled at me. The next thing you know we were kissing. I put my hands behind his head and neck and his on my waist and back. I stopped and looked at him
"John when is your birthday?" I asked him and just stayed down in the water
"In 3 days" he smiled
"3 days?! John!!" I smacked him on the chest
"Ow" he said "what was that for" he said and just looked for a seashell for some reason
"I don't have a gift for you" I said with a sad face
"Don't get me a gift. I already have one" he smiled at me
"You do?" I asked confused
"Yeah. My gift from you is you. And your love" I smiled and she just kissed me
"Are you flirting with me" I laughed
"Duhh!" He said and just put a shell in his pocket
"Can I see it?" I asked him and it was a nice one
"Aww this is so pretty" I said looking at the pink, white and orange shell and gave it back to him "is it for your mom?" I asked him
"Kind of" he put it in his pocket again
"Your mom will love it" I said and just got out of the water and there were towels on the bricks near the campus.
