It looked like it was just a normal night in Richmond, Virginia. It looked so normal you would actually think it was normal. But of course, it wasn't
Why? Because of a certain family of hunters who lived in the Richmond neighborhood
The Molotov Family
There is a woman named Anna Carter (Molotov). Anna is a kind looking woman who didn't seem like a threat at first glance. She was a petite woman with red hair and green eyes. But get past the petite figure and she is actually a deadly huntress
Hunter of what? The supernatural, of course
Anna has a husband who's name is Trey Molotov and who is also a hunter of the supernatural. Trey has sandy hair and blue eyes. He is a man that when you see him you would think nothing would scare him. That is partially right. But of course everyone has fears. If your not scared, your not human
These two hunters have a daughter. Her name is Scarlett Molotov. She has her parent's features. Dark red hair and sapphire blue eyes. But this baby isn't just a normal baby. Why? Because she's a supernatural being
But not just any supernatural. This little girl has a destiny ahead of her. A dark one in fact. She is destined to become the Nightress. A dark being with powers no other has ever had or witnessed before. The Nightress will bring chaos to the world. She would have the power to corrupt any being and even more dark powers. Just like it was spoken in the prophecy that was supposedly Scarlett's life
But right now? The Molotovs don't see any signs of their daughter becoming the one in the prophecy. Well, Scarlett did have powers. That was no mistake. She even had a pair of Raven black wings she could make appear and disappear at will . And that was the way they wanted to keep it
This night, Anna and Trey were out on a hunt. Even if they tried to achieve a "normal" life as a family, they still hunted. They didn't bring Scarlett along with them, of course. She wasn't ready to become a hunter yet. She was too young. But she did already start training. But mostly just learning about them and how to kill them. They didn't want their daughter to be involved with the supernatural, but she needed to learn how to take care of herself on her own
Anna and Trey had asked one of their close friends to babysit Scarlett. Their close hunting friend, Bobby Singer
Scarlett loved Bobby whenever he came over, and Bobby felt the same way. He loved Scarlett, and he didn't mind that she was a supernatural
This night, Anna and Trey were out late. It was already 9:54 pm and they still weren't home
Bobby stood in the kitchen of the Molotov house, took out his phone and dialed Anna's number. As he expected, all he got was a talk with her voice mail
"Hi. You've reached Anna Molotov's phone. I can't come to the phone right now because i busy right now. But please let me take a message after the beep. BEEP!"
Bobby sighed "Hey, Anna. Its Bobby. When are you guys coming home. Scarlett's getting kinda impatient and she won't stop staring at the door waiting for you guys to come home. Anyway, i'll just let the kid sleep already, alright? Try and get home fast and safe. Good luck on the hunt." Then he put the phone down and back in his pocket
Bobby walked back to the living room where he saw little Scarlett sitting on a pillow in front of the door with her wings wrapped around her like a blanket. She had her cassette player on playing "Lonely Boy" on her headphones and she was looking up at the door
Bobby smiled and walked towards her. He knelt beside her
"Hey there, kiddo. What are you up to?"
"Waiting for momma and papa." She answered with her eyes still on the door
"You know, i just got off the phone with your mom and dad." He lied "They said that they'll be home late."
"They're always home late." She said
Bobby chuckled "Yeah. Well, they also told me that they'll be later than usual and that you, little lady, should be getting to sleep." He picked her up and she made her wings disappear
"But momma and papa aren't home yet." she argued
"And you need your sleep." Bobby said as he carried her up to her room
Reluctantly, Scarlett let out a yawn "But i'm not even sleepy yet." She argued stubbornly
Bobby smirked "Sure, kiddo."
He opened the door to her bedroom and placed Scarlett on her bed
"Tell you what," Bobby said "When your mom and dad gets home, I'll tell them to wake you up. How does that sound?"
Scarlett smiled "Good."
Bobby smiled "Alright. Now, get to sleep. Remember, there's a big day ahead of you tomorrow. Remember?"
Scarlett frowned, then she smiled with her eyes wide
"Oh!" She said "Tomorrow momma and papa and i move to Vancouver!"
Bobby smiled "Right. And who's in Vancouver?"
"Dean!" Scarlett happily said the name of her best friend in Vancouver "John and Mary they said i could see Sammy when i get there too!"
Bobby smiled "Right again. So, you better get some sleep so the faster you get to see Dean and Sam."
Scarlett nodded and yawned. Her eyelids getting heavy "OK. Night night, Bobby."
Bobby smiled "G'night, little Raven."
Scarlett smiled at the nickname and with a yawn, Scarlett fell asleep
Bobby smiled then stood up. He decided that he'll try and contact Anna and Trey again
He stepped out of the room and took his phone out and dialed Anna's phone number
Thankfully, he got more than just voicemail
"Hello?" Anna's voice made Bobby relieved
"Anna!" Bobby said "What the hell have you and Trey been doing? You wouldn't answer my damn calls!"
Anna laughed "Hey, Bobby. Sorry about that. Just some problem with the demon."
Bobby suddenly turned concerned "You guys alright?"
"Yeah." Anna said "Trey's over here too, driving. We're on our way home right now."
Bobby let out a relived sigh "Thank God."
"How's Scarlett?" Anna asked
Bobby took a peak inside Scarlett's room where she was still sleeping soundly
"Good." Bobby said "Asleep. She put up a fight that she didn't want to sleep until you guys were here."
"That's our little rebel." Bobby heard Trey say
"We'll be home soon." Anna said. You could practically hear the smirk in her voice
Bibby stepped away from the door to Scarlett's room "Alright. See you then."
"Bye, Bobby." The call ended
Bobby walked down the stairs and out the house to get some fresh air. There were boxes filled with the Molotovs stuff in the garage and Scarlett's was put in the driveway. The moving van would pick up the stuff in the morning, but Scarlett was so excited to see her friends the Winchesters that she already put her boxes outside. The little red head didn't seem bothered that her stuff might be stolen in the middle of the night.
Bobby looked up at the night sky, deep in thought, when the familiar Black Chevy Camaro cad pulled up the driveway
It was Anna and Trey
"Bobby!" Anna greeted happily as she got out of the car
Bobby smiled and waved "Hey, Anna. Hey, Trey."
Trey waved as he closed the door of his car
"Glad you made it back alive." Bobby grinned
"Don't we always." Trey replied with a smirk "How's Scarlett?"
"Asleep in her room." Bobby answered
"Is she okay?" Anna asked
Then, there was a crash sound coming from the second floor of the house
"What was that?" Anna asked
Another crash sound. Now that they heard it again, they knew it was coming from Scarlett's room
"Scarlett!" Trey shouted as he got out his knife and ran towards the house
Anna and Bobby didn't hesitate to follow
"Scarlett!" Trey yelled again as he ran up the stairs
Trey tried the doorknob. Locked
Trey yelled a curse that probably wasn't good for a six year old child's ears. Unfortunately there was a six year old girl inside that very room right now
"Let me." Anna said moving towards the door. She kicked the door and the door swung open
Inside, there was a demon standing beside Scarlett's bed. Scarlett was still sleeping soundly like nothing was happening. But there was something
The demon was holding Scarlett's wrist in his hand and something was glowing on her right palm. All the hunters here knew exactly what that mark was. It was the mark of the Nightress.
"Get away from my daughter!" Trey yelled and tackled the demon. The demon hissed as he and Trey wrestled on the floor
"Anna!" Trey managed to yell "Get Scarlett out of here!"
Anna ran to Scarlett's bed and shook the little girl awake. Scarlett woke up immediately
"Momma?"
Anna managed to smile "Hey there, baby girl."
Scarlett noticed her father wrestling a demon "Papa!"
"Your papa's gonna be alright." Anna said, trying to convince herself too
Anna ran towards the door and looked back "Trey!"
"Go!" He yelled back "Get Scarlett out of here!"
"What about you?"
"Just go!" He continued fighting with the demon
Anna faced Bobby "Can't you shoot the demon?"
Bobby shook his head "Not without hitting Trey."
Anna cursed under her breath
"Momma," Scarlett said looking up at her "m-maybe i can use my-"
"No." Anna shook her head. Even as a child, Scarlett was aware of her powers. But she also knew that temptation was getting stronger every time she used her powers. She needed to learn how to resist and grow older first
But now, she wanted to risk it if she could save her father
"Go!" Trey shouted "Get out of here! I'll be fine!"
Anna seemed to get the idea. Both she and Bobby ran out of the house and out to the yard
Anna set Scarlett down on the ground
"Bobby, take Scarlett." Anna said as she stood
Bobby frowned "What? Anna, what are you-"
"Just do it." Anna interrupted as she took out her knife
"Anna," Bobby grabbed her arm to stop her "Don't do this. I'm a hunter. Let me go after Trey."
Anna just shook her head "No, Bobby. I'll need you to take care of Scarlett for me."
"Mama?" Scarlett said looking up to her and frowning "Where are you going?"
Anna knelt down so she was eye level to her
"Scarlett, honey, baby, sweetie," Anna said "Mommy has to go and help your papa. Go with Bobby and don't look back." Anna took off her necklace. It had a pendant shaped as the symbol of anti possession. A star inside a circle. Anna's necklace she always wore.
She placed it around Scarlett's neck "This can help keep you safe, but also promise me you'll keep yourself safe. You'll grow up to be a great hunter one day, i just know it. Be brave, kind, and no matter what, be yourself. I know your just a young girl with a dark destiny ahead of you, but i know you'll know what to do when the time comes."
"Mommy," The little girl was on the verge of tears "Please don't leave me."
Anna smiled sadly "I have to, baby. Stay with Bobby in Vancouver with your friends. Dean and Sammy, remember?"
Scarlett nodded and hugged her mother. Anna smiled sadly and embraced her daughter
She pulled away and faced Bobby "Take care of her."
Bobby nodded and they had a quick embrace before Anna ran back into the house
Bobby picked up the crying baby girl and ran
Meanwhile, Anna came into the house. There was a growing fire inside, but she didn't mind. She made her way to the room where she saw Trey. He was hurt and wounded. And most importantly, outnumbered by five yellow eyed demons
"Trey!" Anna yelled making all yellow eyed demons look at her
"Anna . . . get out of here!" Trey managed to say
"Not without you." Anna said. She faced the yellow eyed demons and took out her dagger
"Come at me, you sons of bitches!" She growled at them.
And the demons did
Meanwhile outside, Bobby was running down the driveway carrying the crying six year old Scarlett in his arms
"Don't worry, Scarlett." Bobby comforted "It'll be alright."
He reached gar enough from the house and placed Scarlett down behind a dumpster can
"Stay here." Bobby said and started running back to the house
But it was too late
The windows of the house exploded with fire and the force knocked Bobby down on his feet
Scarlett cried while clutching the necklace her mother gave her before she died trying to save her husband and Scarlett's father
"I'll keep my promise, momma." Scarlett said "I promise."
And that was something she was definitely going to keep
