Andrew and Nate walks in the Fuel By Ramen building and the lobby was buissier than normal. They walked closer to the lounge, hoping to find Jack somewhere in there, but no luck. He still wasn't there.
A moment later they found Jack as he was making his way to them, he was panting. "Hey guys. Sorry I was late. The traffic jam down at Jersey was crazy." he explained, quite out of breath.
"No worries. We just got here too" said Andrew.
"Are you ok?" Nate asked.
"Yup. I'm good. I had to park a couple of blocks away then I ran to get here. But I'm good." Jack replied. "How's your head Nate?"
"Better. Thanks." Nate replied with a smile.
"So any idea what Janick wants to tell us?" Jack said, now breathing normally again.
Nate shook his head. "Not really. No." They both looked over at Andrew, who started shaking his head. Jack nodded.
"Well I guess we're about to find out." said Andrew as they entered the elevator.

"Thank you for coming gentlemen. I called you in because I would like to ask you guys a favor." John Janick said as soon as the three were seated across him. "I heard you still don't have an opening act for your tour next month. Am I correct?"
All three nodded. "Yeah. We still haven't really found an artist who will fit our show perfectly." Jack explained.
Janick nodded. "Well. I would like you guys to listen to an artist who I believe will fit perfectly with you. You see, I just singed an amazing artist earlier. Great girl. Wonderful voice and mad song writing skills. She kinda has this indie rock slash a little bit of blues and pop into her. I would really like to see her on the road ASAP. And I think she would make a nice match up with you guys." Janick explained, handing them 3 cd cases. "This is her demo. It has 4 songs in it. You should listen to it."
Nate took a quick look at the demo cd and it say, "Unchangeable by M. Davis" on the cover.
"So John. This girl, she a new girl? No experience. First record deal. Rookie kind of girl?" Nate asked curiously. Which made John chukle.
"Oh no Nate. You want experience? Well she's got bags full of that. She's been around the industy for almost a decade now. In fact, you might have even heard of her somewhere." said John.
"How do you say that?" asked Andrew.
"Well. Beacuse until yesterday, when her band decided to break up, she was the lead singer and song writer for a certain indie band that was quite well known." he explained.
"What band?" Jack asked.
"Band Of Misfits."
"What?! Band Of Misfits broke up?? That sucks." said Andrew, sounding real upset.
"Wait. Wait. Wait. So you mean you just signed--" Jack was saying, before he was interrupted by Nate, who's mind somehow seems to be lost up in the air. "Marvelle Davis" he said.
John smiled. "I knew you've of her before."
"Yeah. She's a friend. And we're obviously fans of her work." said Andrew.
"Great. So you'll take her on tour?" Janick asked.
"Yeah. Absolutely. We'd love too. Right guys?" Andrew eagerly replied, looking at his bandmates for some assurance.
"Of course. Absolutely." replied Jack. They all looked over at Nate. He nodded. "Yeah. Sure." said Nate with a half smile.
Janick smiled. "Great! Which reminds me. Could you guys help her produce an Ep within the month, just before you go on the road and a full lenght album within 5 months? You know since you guys will be spending a lot of time together."
"I'd be more than honored to help her out." said Andrew.
"Since I do admire her works, I'd love too." added Jack.
"Sure." said Nate with a shrug. "I can't see why I wloudn't."
The smile across John Janick's face got even wider, "Great! I'll hook you three up with a meeting with her tomorrow."
Andrew and Jack both eagerly nodded. While Nate on the other hand, barely nodded. For he was still trying to sort out the million things running through his head at that moment.

"Nate. You ok man?" asked Jack, noticing that Nate still hasn't touched his food.
Nate snapped out of his thoughts and nodded. "Yeah I'm cool." he said taking a bite from his steak.
"Is everything ok? You've been so quiet since we left Janick's office." said Andrew across the table.
"I'm fine. I was just thinking."
"About?" asked Andrew,
Nate shook his head, "How sad it is that Band Of Misfits is over. Its a good band."
Jack chuckled. "Are you sure that's all you've been thinking about?" he asked, raising his eyebrow.
"What?" Nate asked, pretending to be puzzled.
"C'mon Nate, are you really gonna play this game with me."
Nate rolled his eyes and sighed, finally giving in, "Fine. I may have been thinking about Marvelle."
Jack smiled and Andrew looked confused, until he remembered something which made him chuckled. "Right. I forgot. You and Marvelle have a thing."
"Had." Nate sternly corrected. "And its more of a fling actually. But its been year now. I was wondering if she's still the same"
"What if she changed?" asked Andrew. Nate shook his head and shrugged.
"No. What if she's still the same. Then Nate has a big problem. He's gonna fall for her again." Jack teased. Nate rolled his eyes.
"I won't fall for her. I swore I wouldn't fall in love again remember?" said Nate.
"Are you really serious about that?" asked Jack. Nate nodded.
"Well I hoped she didn't change. I like her. But not the way you like her or at least like you used to like her. But I like her. She's nice and kind and cool." said Andrew.
