This poem was written by my sister, I found it and thought it was awesome and wanted to put it on here, so I did. Again, I didn't write this, my sister did. She doesn't have a wattpad, as far as I know.

The platic stars stayed just because they'd been there so long.

Their dreams, of shining in the true sky, had long since faded, just like their phorescence in the daylight.

They were content glowing faintly green on my ceiling, knowing a vague blur was all I could see of their cookie-cut shape.

So they stayed

They didn't realize how insignificant they were to those gaseous, brilliant bodies in space.

They just had their innocent fantasies of how nice it would be to float up there.

Either they did not know or did not mind that their glue had long since dried up.

So they stayed

Each night a resolution is made among them to take in more light to improve their glow a bit more.

But the next's days sun always makes things seem a bit more impossible and strengthens their settling for what they've got.

So they stay.
