Things have been going on in Loren's world that no one knows. They don't know about how she sits on her bed every night and cries, cries until the thoughts take over and she's helpless. She gives in too the dreadful thoughts.

Freak
Ugly
Everyone would be better off
I see why Luke broke up with you
Just kill yourself......

That last one held in her mind as she sat on the shower floor, the warm water running over her. She felt helpless, alone, lost, and mostly afraid. She held her razor in her hand and was debating wither or not to drag the razor across her skin. She didn't like doing that- correction she enjoyed the pleasure it gave her- she wanted to be happy but she just isn't. Happiness seems like a far off goal that she can't seem to reach.

She's changed her whole wardrobe to cover her injuries. She wears her skinny jeans everyday and her hoodie, so no one ever suspected a thing until today that was made the mistake to roll up her sleeves and Luke saw."Lo, hallway now." He said through gritted teeth

"No." Loren said as Loren stormed out of class, a leather bound book falling out of her bag as she did. He picked it up and ran to the guys locker room to read it.

He began to read as was about crying by the end. He walked to the Glee room after hiding the book in his locker. He got his guitar and walked around the school until found Loren sitting on the bleachers.

"Loren, I'm going to sing a song to you." 

[Luke]
She's only 16, her whole life's ahead of her.
She hates school because the people there discredit her.
Her boyfriend tries to show her that's not how it seems.
But everyday she just gets lowered with her self-esteem.
He let's her know that every night will have a brighter day,
She even tried to overdose and take her life away.
She's feeling hopeless there just sitting down beside her bed,
Then he takes his hand and places it beside her head.

Loren's eyes got watery

[Luke]
He tries to hold her but with every touch she still resists,
And then he sees the scars that bury deep within her wrists,
She's feeling numb, he tries to beg and plead and ask her, "Why?"
She says this way she has control of the pain she feels inside.
He's asking her, "How long it's going since you've felt this way?
Because you got me here, just feeling so damn helpless."
She says, "It's been a while. I guess I needed better luck."
And then he screams at her and tells her, "Baby, never cut!"

Nobody seems to get you, you feel you're on your own,

The next day at school she's feeling better than the day before.
Even cracked a couple smiles as she walked the corridor.
But all that seemed to end: she dropped her books when she walked into class.
And every student in the room just seemed to point and laugh.

She ducked the next class, ran home into the bathroom.
Thought to herself she wouldn't break her promise that soon.
One cut... two cuts... three cuts... four
The blood just started dripping from the tub to the floor.
Her boyfriend had a feeling in his stomach that he hated.
He followed it right down to her house he never waited.
The front door was open, he heard the water running.
He stormed into the bathroom and his heart just started gunning.

Loren and Luke were both crying by the time Luke finished playing.

"Promise me you will never cut yourself again."

"I'm sorry Luke but I have to go prepare for the winter showcase, I'm the lead girl." Loren wipes her eyes and walks to the auditorium.

She goes through hair and makeup and as she put on the red  dress she thought I can do this as the attached her mic to her dress. She downed a couple of pills not caring what they were

"Welcome all to the annual winter showcase."
The curtain opened to reveal hundreds of people.

[JC]
Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day walk on water?

[Luke]
Mary, did you know that your baby boy would save our sons and daughters?

[Both  boys]
Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you.

[Loren]
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?

[Marissa]
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will calm the storm with his hand?
 
[Both girls]
Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little baby, you kiss the face of God.

[Loren}

[Luke]

[Marissa]

[Loren and JC]

The lights got really dim

[JC]
The blind will see, the deaf will hear, the dead will live again.

[Marissa]
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak, the praises of the lamb!

[Loren]
Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy would one day rule the nations?

[All of Them]
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
That sleeping child you're holding is the great I am.

[Loren]
Mary, did you know?

[Luke]

[JC]
Mary, did you know?

[Marissa]
Mary, did you know?

They bowed as Heather and Hazel came out

[Loren]
