"Princess Kali, time to get up," my new maid Jenny said. "Ok, I will be down in five, Jenny." I knew I had to get up, but my bed was so comfy and warm. But, if I wasn't at breakfast my dad would get angry and forbid me to go outside today. And today I was planning on sneaking over to the garden, to help Cook Lola weed. Cook Lola was probably the only one who gets me, and for that I love her dearly. I loved to help her weed, cook, and harvest; but I have to sneak around my father. I'm sure he means well, but it doesn't come off that way.
At the table I don't even think my father would have missed me, for my brother Zane was home and the two were discussing taking over some town called Meteli. I have never liked my fathers Lordly ways, taking over means a lot of killing and that is really mean. Once I finished my breakfast I ran back to my room to get changed.
