Chapter 1: Past and Present

Nakatago ang isang batang babae sa aparador ng kanilang emergency exit na kwarto.. di niya magawang makalabas dahil alam niyang siya ang hanap ng mga lalaking pumunta dito at ang pumatay sa mga magulang niya

"Little Lady? Little lady? Asan ka na... Andito na kami... dadalhin ka namin kasama ng mga magulang mo masaya sa lugar na yun..." dinig ni mertyle ang sinabi ng isang boses babae...

May nakita si mertyle na tatlong box na may nakalagay

'Our baby Mertyle' nakalagay sa dalawang box... at nakalagay sa isang box ay ang pangalan ng kanyang tito at tita... 'to ate Elliyse and kuya Narson' kinuha ng bata ang tatlong box at inulagay sa backpack niya na hinanda niya at ng magulang niya kasana ng isang maleta alam niya ang drill na ginagawa niya kasama ng magulang niya kaya nung narinig niya ang signal....

Napadpad siya sa isang lugar kung saan puro puti at maraming makatingin sa kanya... nakita niya ang tito niya kaya agad siyang tumayo at tumakbo dito

"Everythings going to be fine our princess...." sabi ng tito niya pero di siya nakapagsalita at tumulo nalang luha niya... kinuha niya yung tatlong box sa bag niya at binigay iyon sa tito niya..

"Dont cry, little princess..." narinig na sabi ng isang babae at niyakap ito...

"Everythings going to be fine but for now... I'm sorry..." sabi ng tito niya at may ininject kay mertyle na magpatulog dito....

Nagising ang bata sa isang napakaganda at napakalaking kwarto... may kumatok at nakita niya ang tita niya...

"Good Morning My Little MM" sabi ng tita niya... ngunt tumingin lang ang bata sa kanya ng walang emosyon

"I'm sorry my MM but your mommy and daddy got into an accident and theyre gone.." sabi ng tita niya at umiyak...

"Tita.... why cant I remember anything?" Sabi ng bata
"Last thing I remember is that... mommy and daddy and I go to the amusement park and I fell asleep..." sabi nito ng walang kaemoemosyon

"Dont worry... tommorow everything will be alright..." sabi ng tita niya sabay yakap sakanya...

Elliyse' POV

"Tita.... can I go to school already?" Tanong sakin ng pamangkin ko...

"Yes... just wait but ofcourse you cant go to some other school yet but I can enter you to a music school... well.. you know how to play the drums... guitar.... flute.... piano.... hmm.. what else...."

"Tita!!! The violin!!!" She said a little joyfully... hmm... since her parents died she didn't use to be cheerful like she used to be....

"Okay... but youll still have a private teacher just like your parents do.."

"Okay tita..." sabi niya

After a year...

"Lets give a round of applause for Mertyle Mariette San Fuelos" maraming nagpalakpakan ng lumabas si MM dala ang violin niya... nagbow muna siya bago niya simulan

Ang galing niya talaga... para sa mag gegrade one palang pinalaki siya ng tama nila ate mariella at kuya morris maganda ang pagtugtog niya pero alam kong malungkot siya... di nga niya magawang ngumiti ng todo eh samin lang siya ngumingiti...

Nagpalakpakan ang mga tao pagkatapos niya tumugtog nagbow rin siya pero di sya ngumiti tsaka rin siya bumalik sa back stage

"A very good performance for a six year old...." sabi ng emcee

"Thank you for that wonderful performance..." sabi ulit ng emcee at saktong tapos na rin

"Thank you for being her with us today.." pagpapaalam nila dumiretso kami sa backstage ni narson para sunduin si MM

Si mertyle ay isang sikat na player ng instrument at her age of six siya ang pinaka batang musician sa buong mundo ngayon...
Sikat rin siyang child actress at singer dati pero after her parents died di na siya gumaganap bilang child actress at singer kaya musician siya naging sikat

"Tito.. tita... you came to watch.." sabi niya at ngumiti ng onti...
Niyakap ko siya...

"You did great my little MM" sabi ko

"Thank you tita.." di parin siya masyadong marunong magtagalog since nasa states sila dati at nung dumating dito puro english ang salita nila sa bahay nila

"Hmm... you still are the best hmm.. lets go tommorow youll get to go to school" sabi ni narson kaya ngumiti ulit siya ng onti ung parating ngiti niya

MM's POV

This month is october but tito and tita enrolled me.. and today I'm gonna start

Now were walking to the hallway of this school

We stop on a door...

Tito knock and some lady opened the door and talked to tito and tita... hmm.. I brought my violin cause my manager said that after class I'm going to perform on live television

She (the lady) signaled me to come in so I did... I dont know how to smile but sometimes I can feel that my lips formed something but I dont know what...

"Teacher!!! Diba siya po ung sa T.V.?" I saw a kid raise her hand and said that and I dont really understand

"Ah.. oo ehtaly.. si Mertyle Marriette San Fuelos the worlds youngest musician ever.." I heard the teacher said
I looked around and Its a room filled with numbers and letters even drawings on the walls...

I looked at the door and tito and tita wave me goodbye so I wave goodbye at them too

"Uhmm..." i look at the teacher when she talked

"Can you play your violin here?" She asked and I nodded as an answer I get my violin and played them what I played yesterday..

"Wow!!! Ang galing niya pala!!! Papapicture ako para ipapakita ko sa friends ko sa bahay..." I heard some girl said

"Ako rin!!" Then anothr and another and another said after I've finish playing they clapped there hands

I looked around and theres student even at the door.. I feel like theyre older than me..

"You can now sit... find a sit you like.." as the teacher said I sat down on a empty sit and the teacher started teaching and answer some questions my classmates can answer but I can.. hmm.. subject is math and adding.. I can do dividing and making a baking soda volcano...

I stand go in front and solve it I even turned it into a division process and computed.. when the Speaker sound..

"Attention Class... 1-1... Mertyle Marriette San Fuelos.. Please proceed to the main gate.." they all look at me but I just get my violin and bag

"Thanks for the class miss...see you all tommorow.." I said without looking at them and go to the main gate
