I don't think you understand
the situation at hand.
I don't think you grasp quite what I said,

The problem's not getting down

no I'm looking for a change.
My tears have dried,

Strength is simply a defeat of your fears,
and fear is the reason for these tears.
I don't have tears to be rid of but that's okay,
I get what you're trying to say.
If I'm all that's left I'm still left alone,
which isn't too different from the life in which I'm thrown.
Banishing my memories, well,
that's easier said than done.
Try living with P.T.S.D. then tell me it's easily won.
