It's the day of the appointment. I actually went to sleep last night on purpose. I wanted to make sure the dream was still there. I bet it's not going to go away in a day, but I wanted to know. I call Leanne to make plans of where to pick her up.
"Hey Leanne!"
"Hey. Emily. Um I can't go."
"Oh. Why? Is everything okay?"
"Yes everything is perfectly fine and mom is doing great. But Natalie brought Lilly and I wanted to have a day with her."
A few moments of silence passed. Lilly is Leanne's best friend. They are cousins and hated each other all though elementary and middle school. But in high school they started to become better friends. Now Lilly has moved to some place in California and any time she comes is Leanne is with her. Which is fine, but she comes in 3 times a month, at least.
"Yeah that's fine."
"Alright I'm sorry!" She said and then hung up.
