I mean, I don't really need her. After all, I have girls chasing after me, wanting my attention.

Once again, I don't chase after them. They come to me. I don't use them, nor do I foreplay.

I just sit there entertained and secretly hope when they're gonna stop.

You'd expect me to enjoy it. But not one bit. I just seem that way because I don't want people to think I'm different.

Arrogance and confidence gets you power.

The 'I'm rich, good looking, and stuck up' act has its benefits, but I can definitely say, I will never be good enough for someone like Rahmat.

"Hey man, snap out of it and let's go" he said smirking.

"Oh God, do I look okay? Is my hair alright? What about my suit? What about my face? Do I-" I started to freak out and my heart suddenly started beating against my chest.

"Oh my god, you look fine. Stop acting like a girl" Hadaf said.

He rolled his eyes and smirked.

I shot him a glare and pushed him to go in first.

Ok calm down Aseef, its only a girl. She's not going to kill you. She's just a girl.

"Are you sure I look okay?" I mumbled nervously.

"Are you ok?"

"Answer my question" I hollered.

"Yes, you look like a princess. Now let's go or I'm going to seriously punch you in the face" Hadaf responded, while silently holding in his laugh.

I didn't notice that everyone else in the room was watching is.

My face heated up.

I silently made my way in followed by Hadaf.

Rahmat's POV

He walked in, followed by Hadaf. I didn't smile, nor did I frown. My heart was racing and I knew I was already starting to sweat.

Ya Allah, help me control my hormones!

"Hi" he muttered.

"Assalam Alaikum" I responded.

I felt his eyes on me, but somehow, I didn't feel uncomfortable.

"Thank you" I mumbled.

"Huh? Why?" he looked at me, confused as ever.

"Well, if it wasn't for you, I would've been dead by now. You saved me, therefore, I owe you big time" I said looking down.

My voice was shaky. Nervousness took over my system.

"It really was nothing" he replied.

"No, what you did means a lot. If you ever need anything from me, I would be happy to oblige"

"No need" he responded.

There was a silent pause.

"For the first time in my life, you're actually being nice to me" he said smirking.

"Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't for long" I grinned.

"Sure we'll see about that"

"What's that supposed to mean?" I hollered, looking at him.

He winked.

What.

Why.

Oh no, now I'm going to become a tomato.

"You guys flirt too much. Anyways, I have some news, but I think the family wants to tell you both. Can I let them in?" Hadaf interrupted.

I nodded and then I said "we were not flirting by the way."

"Surrrreee"

I scoffed.

After a few seconds the whole family decided to come in, including Aseef's parents.

"Ok, so we have some news and we need your opinion on it before we go any further" Aunty said, smiling at both of us.

"Sure, go on" Aseef said and I nodded.

"Well, we're thinking about having the wedding this Saturday"

"Huh" Aseef and I simultaneously spat out.

"Saturday as in, 3 days from now?" I asked.

"Yes, we have everything set up, now all we need is, your approval"

"So what do you say? It could benefit both of you. You're both graduating next month anyway"

"Sure" Aseef said.

Wow that was neutral. He probably doesn't even care about this marriage, does he?

Everybody, looked at me.

I nodded in response.

"Are you both sure?" asked my father.

"Yes" we both said.

I guess I'm getting married, in 3 days.

Woohoo! I'm so FREAKING happy!

Note my sarcasm.
