"Uh..."

"It's twilight! I thought you were caught by guards!"

"Sorry. I was talking to-"

"You were what?!" Rob's face was slowly growing red with anger.

"Let me speak!" I yell. He pierces his lips, but I can still see that he still wasn't happy. "I was speaking with the Prince. He seemed to have other interests then to turn me in."

"What do you mean?" his anger quickly turned into confusion.

"W-well, I don't know. He seemed so interested about me, and who I was. I'm just as confused as you are," I admit, pulling at my hair slightly. Rob chuckles slightly, amused at what I had to say, "What's so funny?" I ask, raising an eyebrow and dropping my hands to to my sides.

"Its ironic really. A great, powerful Prince; heir to the throne of Minecraftia; A man who could snap his fingers and have a noble killed in a second would be romantically interested in you. An experienced killer;  a wanted criminal." Rob has always been one to believe in, and tell fictional stories.

"What?! I don't think-"

"And by the way you're acting, you like him as well." Rob snaps his fingers and sighs dramatically.

"I do not!"

"Whatever you say Lachlan. Just remember, this could be a game he's playing with you. Making you fall in love with him before double crossing you and turning you in."

"I'm going to sleep," I mutter, walking passed him and into my room. I don't want to deal with his delusions right now.

~*Vikk*~

I walk into the palace and into my quarters before anyone could notice me. Well, that was my hope.

"My Prince!" I curse under my breath and turn around to see Preston looking down at me.

"Hey Preston," I say leaning against the wall. I'm so close to my quarters. All I have to do is reach over and pull the door open! But of course this man has to come over and annoy me at this ungodly hour.

"I'm sorry for bugging you at such an hour, but, I'm curious. Where have you been?"

"I went to go visit my mother," I say with a small smile. Well, it's true. I did originally go there to see her, but Lachlan was also there and...

"I see. Well, just tell me when you're leaving alright? I don't want you getting harmed. The Blur is still out there."

"Alright." Little does he know...

Preston walks off and I sneak into my quarters before I could get anymore questions from people. I slip off my cloak before going straight to my bed, ignoring the fact that I was still in my day clothes.

I fall asleep in the soft, warm covers almost instantly, but not before my mind somehow came to the conclusion that Lachlan Craft was the most handsome man in the kingdom.

°Dream°

I was standing in the middle of a bustling square. No one seemed to notice me, and yet, they still left a space for me to not feel crowded around.

"Vik." A voice says gently. I turn around to see Lachlan walking towards me, the crowd parting for him as well as he grew closer.

"Lachlan? What's going on?" I ask as he stands close to me. His hands brush my face and I seem to melt into the touch.

"I don't know," he brings his gorgeous face closer to mine, "but I love seeing you like this." My face heats up.

"What do you mean?"

"You look adorable," He murmurs quietly. His breath on my lips makes my heart race and my knees buckle, but before I could fall Lachlan moves one of his arms to keep me upright.

"W-what are you doing?"

"Meet me in the alley nearby the gates at dawn. It's in between the market place, and where the peasants live. I want you to come alone," his lips are dangerously close to mine.

"O-ok... why?"

"Don't you want to know more about me?"

"Y-yes." Lachlan chuckles and kisses my cheek before walking away into the crowd of people.

°Reality°

I sit up in my bed and rub the sleep out of my eyes. The dream felt so real... was it a message from Notch? Possibly.

I get out of the bed and walk out onto the balcony. It was going to be dawn not too long from now. Hopefully this isn't a trick my mind played on me...

I climb up over the marble railing and look down at the drop below. It's not so bad. Taking a deep breath, I let go of the railing and fall to the ground below.
