Chapter 2

Alice's P.O.V

I met my boyfriend's little sister today. He never told Jenna he only told me. So I expected a first grader but no instead she was a fifteen-year-old girl. Of course, Max doesn't use his powers except for tests and quizzes. It's really nice that the teachers don't know everyone's powers. I'm surprised that Max didn't tell Jenna though. He was surprised when Emily ran into his arms yesterday. I would have thought that he would have seen this in one of his visions or dreams.

Emily's P.O.V

This morning when I woke up I looked around the room. Light beamed from a stained glass window, another window looked out to a beautiful park filled with trees and animals, there were students eating breakfast at round picnic tables. I got dressed and left my room. Elise was already in the cafeteria eating breakfast with Cara, Alice, Jenna, Max, Annie, and another boy. I got my breakfast and walked over to the table where everyone was sitting.

"Hey!" I said happily sitting down next to my brother.

"Hey Em. Sleep in much." Max said.

"Shut up max!" I called laughing.

"I'm kidding." He said nudging me with his shoulder.

"Emily this is my brother Zeek," Elise said.

"Hi," I said.

"Hey," Zeek said back.

After that, we talked about what we remember about our old home. Of course, I only talked about all the funny things Max did when we were little. When we finished breakfast we all went our separate ways to our classes.

I was walking to the fifth period when I ran into someone

"Hey!" I said sternly. Then I looked up. "Hey," I said looking into Zeek's sparkling blue eyes.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Emily," Zeek said helping me pick up my books.

"Don't worry about it," I said. Inside my head, I was singing BFB from my favourite TV show "Victorious".

After he helped me pick up my books I smiled and walked into the classroom.
