Make a little conversation
So long I've been waiting
To let go of myself and feel alive
So many nights I thought it over
Told myself I kind of liked her
But there was something missing in her eyes

I was stumbling, looking in the dark
With an empty heart
But you say you feel the same
Could we ever be enough?
Baby we could be enough

And it's alright
Calling out for somebody to hold tonight
When you're lost, I'll find a way
I'll be your light
You'll never feel like you're alone
I'll make this feel like home

So hot that I couldn't take it
Want to wake up and see your face
And remember how good it was being here last night
Still high with a little feeling
I see the smile as it starts to creep in
It was there, I saw it in your eyes

I was stumbling, looking in the dark
With an empty heart
But you say you feel the same
Could we ever be enough?
Baby we could be enough

And it's alright
Calling out for somebody to hold tonight
When you're lost, I'll find a way
I'll be your light
You'll never feel like you're alone
I'll make this feel like home
I'll make this feel like home
Baby we could be enough
It's alright
Calling out for somebody to hold tonight
When you're lost, I'll find a way
I'll be your light
You'll never feel like you're alone
I'll make this feel like home

Harry's P.O.V.

There she is. Walking her dog at the usual time as I jogged through the park.

I felt a little bit stupid doing this, coming for a jog every day at this time just to see her face, but she intrigued me and I'd been alone for so long. Didn't I deserve some happiness?

I like her, but I had held off talking to her all of this time because she always seemed like her mind was elsewhere, but I could tell she had a story and I wanted to know what it was.

I stopped in my tracks, catching my breath as she entered the park, her dog on a leash as she walked him, heading to walk past me as my breath caught in my throat.

She smiled at me before continuing her journey as I just stared at her.

She smiled at me.

I smiled at the thought, before realising that she had already gone.

Rolling my eyes at myself, I jogged onwards, watching as she let her dog off of its leash as I jogged up to her.

"Hey." I spoke up as she flinched, turning to see me.

Great. I'm probably sweaty and annoying to her now. Way to go, Harry. I thought.

I didn't even know what to say.

"Oh, hi." She replied, pushing her hair from her face as the wind ruffled it.

"H-hi, um, I see you around a lot and I was wondering if... Um, well -" I stuttered, pausing as she only looked at me, awaiting me to continue.

"Would you like to go out with me sometime?" I asked, wincing at my own words as I realised how that must sound.

She doesn't even know me and here I am, asking her to go out with me. What a -

"Go out with you?" She repeated, interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, I know you don't really know me and I don't really know you either, but your really pretty and I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime to maybe get to know each other?" I rambled, not being able to control the words as they tumbled from my mouth.
