It's a word that's used often,
And tossed around carelessly.
But what they don't understand,
Is that it leaves a mark on people.
After someone says it to you,
You begin to see yourself differently.
You start to wander if you're good enough.
You slowly start becoming more and more self conscious.
Why do you call them ugly?
Do you want them to sit up at night?
Do you enjoy their pain?
Do you like watching them hide their face because they don't want to be called ugly again?
