Chapter 1: It's the Start of Something New

~Riley's POV~Friday, December 11, 2015~

Today is a day I have been dreading since Monday. Usually after school on Fridays Maya and I would go to the mall, but today I have to go to a different type of store. A drugstore. I'm going there for a reason I never thought I would have to go there for. At least while I'm only 14 years old. I am going there to buy a pregnancy test. I am terrified! I hope it will be negative, but I have a really strong feeling that it won't be. If I am pregnant, I just have to hope that the father will decide to be in the baby's life.

~Maya's POV~

Today Riley and I were supposed to the mall together, but she said she didn't feel well. I hope she gets better. So since she isn't going with me, I invited Lucas and Farkle to the mall with me, but they didn't want to go to the mall. So instead we are going to go get smoothies.

Class just ended and Riley left as soon as the bell rang, but Lucas, Farkle and I stood around and talked for a couple minutes. Then we went to our lockers and got our stuff. After we all had our stuff we walked out of school and headed to Topanga's.
