"Cassidy, if you walk out this house, you gone regret fucking with me!" Speedy yelled at me, as I grabbed my stuff and Cherry's stuff.

"You a little too late on that, boo!" I yelled back, taking one more glance at the room I used to love.

I picked up all of our stuff and went into the living room, to actually see the face behind the voice. I looked at Speedy.

The eyes that used to be filled with love and care when they were looking at me, was now filled with pure hatred and disgust. The hands that used to wipe away my tears after every argument, was now clenched and ready to fight. The smile that once lit up my whole day, was now upside down.

I had had enough of living with Speedy. I couldn't do this shit anymore.

"Leave me if you want to, Cassidy. I promise, you'll be back." He said, ready to pounce on me at any moment.

"Bye Speedy." I said, brushing past him and grabbing Cherry's hand. "Let's go, Cherry." I said.

Before I could open the door, I felt a giant 'THUD' to the back of my head. I fell to the ground, and on top of me was Speedy.

"YOU AIN'T LEAVING THIS HOUSE!" Speedy yelled, as he hit me repeatedly.

My father's words flashed back into my mind, "Never cry if a nigga hit on you. Be woman enough to fight back."

I began beating Speedy as he was beating me. I finally got the upperhand, and I kicked him in the balls.

He flew off of me, and grabbed his crotch, screaming "OW!"

I took the nearest object closest to me: a pocketknife that was sitting on the coffee table.

I sliced Speedy's face up until I felt as if he couldn't bare much more.

I lifted Cherry in my arms, as she cried. I picked up our things once more, and ran to my car.

I got out of the driveway, but not quick enough to see Speedy getting into his car, and following me.

I had no idea what to do. My bestfriend was out of town, and she was my only hope.

Or, that's what I thought.

I dialed the number quick, fast and in a hurry.

"Hello?" He asked, as if he just had woken up.

"Major, I'm on interstate I-75 with Cherry, and Speedy is right behind us, bumping the back of my car every chance he gets. I finally left him, and now he's furious. I'm passing red lights, and stop signs. I'm so afraid, and I don't know what to do!" I began to sob my eyes out.

"Okay, Cassi. I'm on my way out, what part of the interstate are you on?" He asked.

"NO, MAJOR! STAY THEIR! I'M COMING!" I risked saying.

"WHAT?! YOU'RE COMING WHERE?" He said with slight edge in his voice. I guess he remembered what Speedy said if I ever go their again.

I took a deep breath and replied, "I'm coming home."
