Chapter 7- Finnley's POV

Oh I just love how Harry thinks he can fix everything by retracing old memories. I'm so glad he kissed me under the apple tree! I think that just fixed all of the problems we have! How about no. Harry has to do a lot more then that to restore the friendship and even relationship we have. I know, I probably shouldn't be so difficult and confusing when it comes to Harry, I mean, he's Harry Styles! Well, not to me. To me, he's just Harry. He's the Harry that made me fall in love with him and then made me want to fall off a cliff. Yeah sure, he will always be my best friend but I don't think we'll ever be back to the 'I love you' phase.

He grabbed my hand and interlaced his fingers with mine.

"How about them apples?" Harry said.

He grinned at his punny little question. But, that stupid pun was like the old Harry, so I wasn't going to hit him for saying something so idiotic.

"That's not even funny." I teased

"Oh, come on. That was gold."

I shrugged my shoulders, "Eh."

He smiled and pulled me into a hug. "Finnley, I want to fix everything."

I laughed, "So let me get this straight, you dragged me out to a park in our old neighborhood just to give me a kiss under an apple tree?"

"You said you wanted the old Harry back, the one you fell in love with. So, I'm going to be that Harry in every way I can."

"Why?" I asked.

He grabbed my hand and began walking back towards the bus. The laughter of children in the park could be heard from the sidewalk. As we started to get closer to the bus, the aroma of baked bread engulfed me in a delightful trance.

"I want you to fall in love with me again." He replied.

"What about the bet?"

His shoulders slumped. "Oh, the bet.."

"I thought you wanted me to fall for one of your friends and have to sleep naked for two months."

"Yeah.. Of course. I would love to have you lose the bet and fall for one of my best friends."

I could hear the slight tone of sadness in his voice. He obviously doesn't remember who made the bet. As much as I would love to date Harry, he has hurt me in the past. I looked down at our hands. Our fingers were intertwined and there was a slight sway back and forth. I missed that. I missed doing that with the old Harry and watching everyone just stare at us with their glossed over eyes.

*Flashback*

"Are you nervous?" I asked

Harry gave me a confused look. "For?"

"Your audition!"

"Oh, not really. There is a few rounds so I have time to prepare myself. Besides, I probably won't even make it past round one."

"You know that's not true."

He slipped his fingers through mine. 'Thank you for supporting me."

I rested my head on his shoulder. "How could I not?"

We were sitting outside during lunch watching all of the lower classes pla

A girl from a grade below kept looking at us from her table. She got up and stood right in front of our seats.

"You guys would make a really cute couple." She said cheerfully.

She turned away and went back to her spot.

"That was odd." Harry said.

*End of Flashback*

Up until that day, I had never given much thought to the idea of me liking Harry. i mean sure, I have had little daydreams where I caught myself thinking of him. But nothing more.

Then I started thinking about it more and more. Just in the little short time period of lunch, I had convinced my self that Harry and I could be a couple.

"What are you thinking about?" Harry asked.

"Nothing really."

He poked my side causing me to jump a bit.

"Liar."

"I was just thinking about the time that little girl came up to us at lunch."

"That was the day I started liking you." He grinned

I laughed, "Me too."

Yeah sure, I was having a great time with Harry. It was amazing to be laughing and joking around with him, but I had my eyes on another boy. The worst part was that I didn't even want to like that boy. I wanted to like Harry, but my mind kept telling me I would get hurt again. Sadly, it was probably right. I want to like Harry, not Zayn. But maybe it was better that Harry wasn't on my mind.

We made our way back to the bus in under twenty minutes. Harry grabbed the handle of the door and pulled. The door opened with ease. They should really keep this thing locked up.

We stepped inside to find the bus empty.

"Where are the boys?" I asked

"I have no idea." He replied, "Should I call them?"

I nodded. I had kind of hoped that my eagerness to the boys would make Harry quite jealous.

Harry took a seat on the couch. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I answered

"You just seem distracted by something."

I hesitated to respond.

"You lost the bet!" He yelled

"I did not, Its a mere crush. I didn't fall for anyone." I said

"Whatever Finnley, You lost."

"Give it a few days. If I still like him, you win."
