Your POV

It's been about a day since I first started dating Jeff. Everything's been kind of....nice and weird at the same time.
It's weird because I don't think people know yet and I don't know if Jeff wants to tell them or when he does want to tell them. Also...Jeff has been different. He's just been super generous and sweet. Anything I needed he'd go get, whether it was cold he'd get a blanket, if I was thirsty he'd bring me water, if I was hungry he'd bring me food. Of course Jeff still had his stubborn and little mean bone in his body. He still picked on me and teased me, which I was okay with. He was also very very attached...which I don't really mind either, although that brings out he's jealousy of others out more, which make people confused because like I said...I don't think they know we're dating.

It was nice because I never knew how sweet he could be, or how nice it is to finally date him.

"What do you want to watch?" Jeff asked leaning his head on my shoulder. "I don't know, what do you wanna watch?" I replied in a teasing manner. "I don't know." He mumbled. We continued starring at the end credits of the last movie we were watching. Jeff lifted his head off of me and wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer to him. He laid down on the couch pulling me onto of his chest. It was warm and pretty comfortable but I knew some questions would be asked. "Jeff...what if someone-" I was cut off. "Let them...we are dating, if they have questions they can ask me." Jeff stated in a matter of fact tone. I smile to myself. "Okay." I added. I brought my arms in to my chest to keep them warm between both mine and Jeff's body heat . I could feel him gently stroking my hair. Almost as if one cue Ben walked in. "Uh..." He furrowed his eyebrows and slowed his pace as he starred at us confused. "Are you...you know...yeah?" He asked pointing to us. "Yes, now go away elf boy." Jeff shooed him away with his arm. "Rude." Ben sneered and walked back out. "Wait wait wait...does slender know?" Ben asked rushing back in. "I don't know, why?" Jeff asked looking at Ben. I could tell he was getting irritated but I just laid still with my eyes closed. Despite Ben and Jeff beginning an argument it was rather comfortable. "Uh...never mind. Ben said in a strange tone. He seemed nervous. "No, now you have to tell me." Jeff demanded sitting up, still holding me though. He just pulled me into his lap and cuddled me like a child which made me blush, but I expected it. I nuzzles into his chest and looked up to him to see him smiling down at me. I smiled back. Ben cleared his throat. "Hurry up and tell me!" Jeff growled. I was amazed at how quickly he could change his mood. Ben shifted is eyes and fidgeted nervously. "Jeff...she's a mortal." Ben started. "Yeah? So?" He aid hugging me tighter. "And...you're immortal...do you remember the rules?" Ben said before awkwardly shuffling towards the door. Jeff's grip on me loosed and it was clear some sort of realization hit him. I looked back up to him to she a worried expression in his face. "Hey...what's wrong, what's the rule?" I asked laying my hand on his cheek. He slightly turned his head and gave me a forced half smile. "It's nothing. Just Ben being stupid, there's nothing to worry about." Jeff said putting his forehead against mine lovingly. I couldn't help but feel like something wasn't right, but if it wasn't Jeff would take care of it right?

"Jeff?..." I trailed off. "Yes?" He looked into my eyes. His eyes were so beautiful, the light blue reminded me of a cloudless sky. "Are you sure everything is okay?" I asked suspicious. "And if it weren't okay...you'd tell me right? Or do something about?" I added. This time he gave a real smile. "Of course my love." He said pulling me up forward more to hug me. His hug was tight and meaningful. It felt right in his arms and I couldn't believe it. Someone I used to hate with my very life...means so much to me I would do anything for him. I closed my eyes has he held me against himself. He placed his face in the crook of my neck. "I love you Y/n." He spoke clear to me with so much power an meaning dripping for his words. My heart sped up. "And I don't care if it's "too earlier" in the relationship to say that. I've know you for all my life and I've loved you then, us being official doesn't change anything...besides the fact I can say it with out you smacking me and calling me back my whole name as if I were in trouble." He chuckled. I chuckle back and pulled away from him with a big smile on my face. "To me, we've always been official, ever since you moved in two house down from me." He smiled beiges continuing. "I still remember the day I knew I would always be yours. Your car drove up and it was the same time we got back from the store. We got out of the the car the same time and I almost tripped over Liu. My family already walked in but I just stayed starring at you." Jeff explained.

*flashback*

I starred out of my window, the nerves in my stomachs were building up as we pulled into our drive way. "Please let this year be good." I thought to myself as I heard the car door shut. My parents had already stepped out of the car and my older sister was already making her way up to the house. I sighed and lazily pulled on the car handle releasing me from the small car. I cupped my head over my eyes to block the sun as I starred at the house. It was nice...fairly big, definitely bigger than our last house.

I felt eyes watching me like a hawk watching a field mouse. I looked behind me and saw no one. I tried my best to ignore the feeling as I walked to the back of the car and unloaded my things. My family was already inside exploring the new house.

Finally I couldn't brush off the feeling anymore. I stood up straight and looked all around until I spotted and odd boy on the left, two house down. He was leaned over the fence, resting his elbow on his and his chin in the palm of his head. I awkwardly shifted my eyes and quickly pretended to look for another bag in the back of the car...even though I knew that was all I had. I shyly looked back to the the boy still there in the same position. I stepped out from the back of the car and stood with my arms crossed. He stood up straighter in a panic and looked around to pretend to be distracted with something else. I couldn't help but laugh to myself. "Whatever weirdo." I thought to myself and turned to pick up my bags. I grabbed one wrong and it crashed to the ground. "Hey, need some help?" The boy called walked to his gate. "No, I got it." I said trying to avoid him. "Are you sure? Looks like you only have two arms." He chuckled. Before I could decline again, he was already reaching for my suitcase that dropped. He was actually pretty cute up close. Dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. As he leaned down he looked directly at me. "Hi." He smiled. "Hi." I smiled back. "I'm Jeffrey Woods." He said straightening himself up again with my bag in hand. "Y/n L/n." I replied. He seemed to smile wider. I turned on my heel and walked to my house. Jeffrey rushed ahead of me and opened the gate. "Thanks." I said awkwardly and walked through.

After we set my things down in my room and I introduced him to my parents...which meant getting one of those "approval" smiles from your mom and a stern look from your dad...not to mention a couple cat calls from my sister which made everything awkward.

I walked Jeff back out to the gate. "Thanks for helping." I waved him off from the porch. He was walking backwards and still looking at me. "Talk to me again some time, okay?" He said smiling still. I don't think he stopped smiling. "Sure thing." I chuckled. "Is that like a 'sure' it's never gonna happen or..." He trailed off with a smirk. He reached the gate still looking at me. "It's a-" before I could finish, he opened the gate but it swung open too fast as he was still leaning on it. He fell backwards with an 'hmpf'. I chuckled running to him as he groaned. "Are you okay Jeffrey?" I asked biting back more laughter. "Just call me Jeff." He groaned and rubble the back of his neck with his eyes still closed. "The answer was..before you so rude interrupted me...was 'sure' as in yes I will." I leaned over him still standing. My hands were on my hips. He opened his eyes and was about to get up but instead he just laid there smiling up at me like an idiot. "Is your friend okay sweetie?" My mom called from the front door. "Yeah, he's fine." I chuckled back. "Sweet, we're friends now." He said pulling himself up to a standing position. He now stood taller than me once again. "Only cause I don't know anyone else." I teased. He slightly frowned and dusted off his clothes. "Kidding, Jeff I'm kidding." I laughed and put my hand on his shoulder in a friendly way. "Hey Jeff, moms been looking for you." I heard another voice as a boy that looked kind of like Jeff but more...gentle...I guess if that makes sense, approached. He didn't have a harsh stare or for that matter an intimidating aura. He had dark brown hair and green eyes. He looked to me and smiled. "Hi I'm Liu." He waved. "You're leaving." Jeff spoke sternly. "So...he can stop smiling...interesting." I teased to myself. "Hi, I'm Y/n." I waved back. Liu turned to Jeff and smirked. Jeff shook his head and I knew as brothers, they were speaking an unspoken language only known by brothers. "Alright so, I'll see you tomorrow." Jeff said turning to me. "Watch out...there's a gate." I teased. "Funny." He smirked to me and I put my heads up in surrender. "I'm being serious about tomorrow too." He said as Liu pulled him along. "Alright, then I'll be waiting." I waved him off.

*flashback ends*

I smiled up at Jeff as he held me in his arms. "I love you too Jeff, and I know now that I've always have...ever since you fell in front of my house." I teased and laughed. Jeff gave me an unamused look but still blushed. "We don't speak about that." He demanded. "Oh come on it was so cute, you were just walking and talking and then all of a sudden BOOM you were on your ass." I said pulling him close and hugging him tight. He chuckled.

"I guess you could say I fell for you."
