No such thing as a good war

A pale hand stroked the black dog

The boy walked across the shore line woth a worried expression, his dog suddenly snuffed the air and pulled its ears back

"What is it girl?" He asked and the dog bounded forward

He raced after her and she stooped at the end of the pier,  in the water was a shield,  it blinkered at the bottom

The boys face crumbled and he fell to his knees,"n-No, he can't be-" wood suddenly flouted around the water

Not any wood

Parts of the Argo,  he covered his mouth as a ore drifted past him, he sat there with a hand over his mouth, sniffling his sobs that threatened to escape

I large gasp suddenly pulled him to his feet, in the water emerged a man,with long black hair and green eyes, an asgardien,  a God

Other people shot to the surface,  each raced to the shor weakly and collapsed, the boy ran after them

When he reached then he towered over the God of lies that lied on the sand weakly

"Where is he" he demanded,  the others brought there attention to them, they we all ready to fight

"I haven't a clue what you-" a sword was suddenly digging. Into Loki's neck "My cousin! Perseus Achilles Jackson! My hero, my best friend, WHERE IS HE"

The ground around the God erupted and skeletal. Hands grabbed the liar

A man in iron was about to stop the boy but the ling haired blond stopped him

"Who... are you" the woman said as she helped an archer

The boys eyes bore into the gods

"I'm Nico De angelo, son of hades"

"Percy's cousin" the weak hulk stuttered out with a wince as he stood, "where is my cousin" he asked again

The avengers looked for their captain for an answer

But he was no where to be found

"I sensed a death when the ship exploded , I need to know..." they all were silent

Loki had a devilish grin" looks like you've lost two captains in on me day, well done-"
And just like that, with a wave of the boys hand, skeletons erupted around Loki laufyson and dragged him into the realm of Hades

The ocean started to become aggressive,  Poseidon was mad, or grieving

Nico turned on one heel to leave but hesitated,  "this is your fault" he whispered loud enough for then to hear
"Uh, what?" He turn around to the with angry eyes

"Its your fault he's dead!" He yelled at them, the.ground started cracking, "he wanted to help you! And now he's dead, because you couldn't even take care of yourselves. Have you learned nothing from him!"

That last statement was directed at thor, he looked startled, "never let your enemy's get away or-" he waved at the remains of the Argo

And at them, they were burnt beaten and bruised, "- they will just
come.back. stronger" , he turned and saw that his dog had bounded away

Without another word he sank.into the shadows, the hurt avengers we're amazes

Loki had been dragged away

Loki's army had been killed

So had their captain

"Did we... win?" Bruce asked with a shaky voice, "we won the war" Tony agreed

Natasha looked like she was trying not to cry, "theirs no suck thing as a good war" she said weakly and Clint leaned on her with dead eyes

"Steve and Percy... are gone..." he muttered and Natasha nodded

"So, what do we do now?"Tony asked,  their looked down at his feet,  grif was visible in his eyes

"I believe without a leader, we are not avengers" and with that thor turned and flew off

"He's right" Natasha said and started walking away, "wait- You just going to.. leave? Just like that?" Tony was astonished

"Yes" she said and pulled Clint up so he didn't fall, "it can't end like this" Tony said behind her as she stopped

"There is nothing but this"

Anger flooded Tony as his so called friend's walked away, Bruce. Glossed his eyes for a moment before walked the opossit way Natasha went

"Bruce, you to?" Tony ran to catch up with him, "she's right Tony, we can't be the avengers forever, you need to stop living in the moment and think about your future " he kept walking

Tony stood there as all the people he knew walked away

Each of them were alone

They were all alone
