aberdeen & luke

Note: Aberdeen is pronounced as Ay-Ber-Deen

Aberdeen and Luke had been the best of friends since they were two years old when their parents met at a Wizard & Witch party. The two spent most days together but after eight years, their friendship had ended.

Aberdeen's parents Matilda and Daniel Hart had been sent to Azkaban for the murder of twenty people but a few years later were found innocent. Ever since the accusations, the Hemmings family decided that they would never again speak to the Hart family due to not wanting their son, Luke, to be influenced.

Luke was told to stay away from Aberdeen which was incredibly hard because they were both in the same year and Gryffindor and Slytherin happened to have most classes together.

School for Luke had been the best times of his life; he was loved and admired by many, he was the Head Boy, he was a fantastic seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team and he was an incredibly bright student.

Aberdeen on the other hand was also a bright student but experienced the ignorant comments being thrown at her every day because her parents were not only accused of murdering twenty people but rumour has it that they were both Death Eaters.

Everywhere she went, people would either glare, whisper or taunted her about her parents.

The thing that hurt the most to Aberdeen was the fact that Luke wouldn't even look at her. Not even once. He'd never ask her for help in class; if Luke needed an ingredient from a the shelf, Aberdeen would've been the closest (because she wanted to stay away from everyone) but he always asked for someone else to get it for him.

If Aberdeen was ever in the way, he'd simply sigh and shove through her side without an apology.

It really did hurt.
