Chapter two: Confession

Eren checked the time, it was around half past six in the evening. The were nearing the end of the series, and she grew more nervous by the minute. She had planned to tell Levi how she felt after the last episode ended.

The last episode had finally ended, Eren thought she might die waiting for it.
"Should we start a different series or do you want to play Legend of Zelda?" Levi suggested "After all, we do have seventeen hours left before the fest ends." Eren decided to do it now.
Levi could tell something was different about her but didn't think much of it. He didn't want to let it ruin his weekend with Eren.
As Eren thought of what she would say to him, Levi tried to think of what could be wrong with her. She has never had this look on her face. It was worried and pained but also what people looked like right before they felt that sense of relief that makes you feel like a huge weight was lifted from off their shoulders.
She finally decided what to say. "Levi, can I tell you something?" she asked with a shaky voice. Levi could she that she was struggling with something.
"S..sure. Is something wrong?" he asked worried something bad might have happened in the past week. What if she has to go back to her home town? Or maybe she has to leave the country. Levi thought to himself. Im probably over thunking it. But if she does leave I have to tell her how I feel. Otherwise i'll die.
"Well, nothings happened I promise." she said, seeing the worry on Levi's face.
Thank goodness Levi thought again.
"Its just that, well, I dont want to make things awkward between us but... Levi I love you." Eren said with the most confidence she could.
Levi said nothing for a few moments. She looks up ank see's a slight smile on gis face. The one he always has when he is genuinely happy about something.
As he looks up she could see it on his face. He was definitely happy about something, but was it about her or something else? Suddenly, Eren felt Levi's soft lips against hers. It felt like minutes past, but she knew they were mear seconds. As he pulled away, Eren became happier but confused at the same time.
"Eren," he said her name differently than any other time before "I love you, too." Now she knew why.
