Chapter 31

Rydel's POV

"Mommy why is your hair so blue? Is it made out of cotton candy?" Eliana asked as we sat on the bench sitting Ice cream

We're in the park right now with the whole family even Ratliff's parents

And yes it is awkward between me and Riker. We're not even talking and I'm afraid Laura will suspect something

I chuckled "No sweetie it's cause I dyed it like that?"

"When you're 35" Ratliff said butting in the conversation

And speaking of butting in, he pushed my butt to the side so he could sit

"What why?" Eliana whined

"Because daddy said so" He said licking his Ice cream

"Not fair mommy tail him" She said

"She's doing it when she's 15" I said

"What why?" Ratliff whined

I laughed "Because mommy said so"

He huffed, crossed his arms and walked away

Then Rocky, Ryland, and Laura come

"Hey Rocky, Ryland. Watch Eliana, I have to go to the bathroom" I said

"Great cuz I need to talk to you" Laura said with something behind her back

"Okay..." I said weirded out and walked with Laura

We walked in silence to the bathroom and when we got there Laura did the most unexpected thing

She slapped me

I shrieked "Dude what the fuck?"

"Exactly Rydel what the fuck is right" She said mad

"Why did you do that?" I asked her touching my purple cheek

"Why Rydel? How could you?" She asked tearing up

"What in the world are you talking about? What did I do?" I asked her

She showed me her phone and it was a picture of me and Riker kissing

My eyes widen as I teared up "Laura I am so, so, sorry"

Her mouth opened as she lets out a scoff "I can't believe you"

Shit!!

I look down and nod

She sighs and puts the magazine down  "How the fuck did this happen?"

~10 minutes later~

"YOU'RE A FUCKING BITCH" Laura yelled

"No Laura I'm sorry" I said tearing up" I begged tearing up

"OH NO YOU GO FUCK YOURSELF. COME HERE" She yelled taking my hand furiously and leading me to god knows where

Once we get to where she wanted to take me I see Ratliff talking to Ross and Riker is getting himself a Ice cream so he's like far away

"Laura what are you going to do?" I ask her

She lets go of my hand, grabs Ratliff's face and starts kissing him roughly
