Laura's POV
I was sleeping when my alarm clock went off, I hit the snooze button but then my mom went off 'GOD WHY CANT I SLEEP IN PEACE' I thought to myself. I groaned as I fell off, and crawled downstairs(Yes it is possible I've done it before) And saw my dad reading the newspaper and my mom is in the kitchen making breakfast.
"Morning Pops" I say lazily while dragging myself around the floor making my way to him.
"Laura get your butt up"My dad said sternly while putting his newspaper down
I groaned and got up, I almost lost my balance "Woah" But I managed to keep myself up, my dad looks at me
"Well what are you waiting for?Where's my hug?" My dad asked and I screamed
"POPS" I say while hugging him tight
And my dad chuckled
"Morning sweetheart, now go say morning to your mother" He said while kissing my head
"Alright"I said while skipping to my mom"MORNING MOM"
She jumped"MORNING SWEETIE" She yelled back, I love my mom we're so playful with eachother "Would you mind waking Vanessa up for me?"
I smirked "Oh no, not at all, on a random note where are the frying pans?" My mom looked at me
"What are you gonna do Laur?" My mom asked suspiciously, She always calls me Laur I love it!
"Oh just a little something I like to call revenge" I said smirking while grabbing the pans.
"Oh jesus where are the earbuds when you need them?"My mom said already knowing whats going to happen
"Right here"I told her while grabbing them and giving it to her
"Go upstairs I'll give your father his" my mom said while shooing me off the kitchen
I was going upstairs, You see my lovely sister Vanessa decided to wake me up with ice cold water the other day and like they say 'Karma's a bitch' When I got inside I starting walking all sneakily and I saw this vine it was ma funny
"RISE AND SHINE SLEEPY HEAD. IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP, OPEN YOUR EYES CUZ ITS MORNING"I said while banging the pans together
Right there she falls out of her bed lemme tell you its a queen so its pretty tall is you ask me, she grunts while Im laughing my ass off
"Oh my....god you.....should've seen your.....face PRICELESS" I said trying to control my laughter but that seemed highly impossible
She gave me a death glare "Hahaha soooo funny right?" I nod, I laugh even more so I can't talk "You little" She was a bout to threaten me hen my mom calls us by out middle names... ugh
"Marie, Nicole get your asses down here and get some breakfast"
We looked at eachother "Wanna race for it?" She asked "You know it" We ran as if our lives depended on it and you'll never guess who won THE QUEEN aka Me "You little brat" Vanessa said, I laughed
"Well you girls eat your breakfast me and your father are going to buy some groceries" Mom said "Be safe" She said while kissing our foreheads and walking out the door
"Alright bye mom" We said in unison while watching them close the door "Im gonna take a bath" Vanessa said while going upstairs "Dont do anything stupid while im in the bathroom"
"No promises" I say innocently. I went to the couch with my breakfast and started channel surfing when I found nothing so I went on Netflix and searched up my favorite show The Fosters😆😁
~1 hour later~
Hmm... Mom and Dad have been gone a while I hope nothing bad happened to them. I haven't heard from Vannesa in a while, I should check up on her. I was walking to her room and when I got there I noticed she was gone, her closet was empty, and there was a note on her bed. I read it and it said:

Dear Laura or my parents,
Whoever is reading this I want to confirm you that I am now gone, I got a call from my boyfriend and he wants me to move with him, I excitedly accepted I love you guys and especially you Laura don't ever forget that. Im not gonna tell you guys where Im moving to but its pretty far so don't bother looking for me.

I literally fell into the floor crying, Why would she do such thing I thought we was a happy family and all of the sudden she leaves us for her boyfriend? I cant believe her, shes so selfish!!! I kept on crying until the phone rang downstairs, I ran down to get it hoping it was my parents but unfortunately it wasn't.
I picked it up and a lady started speaking "Hello is this Miss... Laura Morono?"
"It's Marano and yes who I this?" I asked concerned she sounded old
"This Christina Rivera, Police officer of Los Angeles" The lady said in a jersey accent
"And how may I help you?" I asked, Okay I have no idea who this lady is and she's annoying me Im not in the fucking mood!
"Are your parents Ellen and Damiao(Idk how to spell his name)Marano?" She asked
"Yea why, what happened to them, are they okay?" I started panicking
"Sorry Miss but your parents got murdered" The lady said with a sad tone
I hung up the phone, I feel like someone just dropped 10 pounds of bricks in me.
I don't have a family anymore
