TPFG 2: Popularity Part 1

'If you are going to die tomorrow, what are the things that you would do today?'

I remembered my english subject teacher asked me that question when I was in high school.

'I would have a One Piece marathon the whole day.'

I thought a little after answering that and realize that the way I answered her was pretty stupid. She must have thought that I'm a weirdo. I should have given myself time to think about it and answered seriously that I wanted to find a guy that looked like Ace and have a one-night stand with him.

If that last wish is fulfilled then I'll die happily.

That's what I thought back at that time. Now that I think about it, that's even weirder than my first answer. I was a really desperate fangirl back there and honestly, I don't know whether I should be happy or dissappointed to see that I didn't change a bit.

Back then, I was content on dreaming to meet an Ace look-a-like (and sleep with him even once lol) so I never would have thought that I will meet the original.

Now that I have seen the real Ace, I have decided to make him mine. The look-alikes is nothing compared to the original. Of course, that would not be as easy as it sounds. I'm having a little doubt with my capabilities as a woman (fvck my unsexiness) and I'm quite sure I'm not that good at seducting so as my "plan B", I looked for help within the WBP crew and the help I found was none other than Marco the Phoenix.

Due to some circumstances, he felt obligated to help a lonely female beautiful wanderer such as me so now, I'm abusing his kindness. I let him buy me some clothes, give me money, and spoil me rotten the entire time I'm with him. I can't believe pirates are this kind hearted.

"When the time comes and I start to learn how to earn money, you are the first person I'm gonna treat, Marco." I looked at him as he carries the bag of clothes that he bought for me.

Since I don't know anything about this world, I just let Marco lead me from place to place. I thought he was going to introduce me to the WBP so he could get rid of me instantly because I am just a bother so I'm a bit shock that he is wasting his time and money on me. See? Pirates are not that bad at all.

"Such a pleasure, yoi." He repllied with a smile and continued, "Today, I'll introduce you to the others. Are you prepared?"

"Eh? Finally! I've been waiting for this." I beamed. I knew it's almost time. It's already been three days since this one-of-a-kind dream started and I am already bored to death in staying at the tavern.

"You're as enthusiastic as always. That's good. The ol'man will really like you."

"Whitebeard? Yeah, I'm excited to see him, too. But I am more excited to see Ace. I can't stop squeling to myself just thinking about it."

"Oh yeah, Ace. I almost forgot about that." Marco pretended and scratch his head.

He can't forget an important thing such as that because I reminded him about it 24/7.

"Hey, you promised."

"Yeah, yeah. I will help. But I gotta remind you one thing."

"Hmmm?"

"Ace is a pirate. He is not a gentleman like you think he is."

"..." I wonder about that. You are a pirate too but you are a good person. I looked at Marco and examine him entirely. If I am not head-over-heels with Ace, I might have fallen for this guy. It's a good thing I was taught loyalty. I will stick to Ace. "Jerk or not, he is still Ace. I will love him just the way he is and my feelings will not waiver."

"That a good conviction. I hope you succeed." Marco replied on a monotonous and sarcastic way. I clicked my tongue and hit him in the head. Darn. And here I am thinking that he's such a good guy.

I noticed we are walking towards the marketplace. "Hey Marco, aren't you gonna introduce me? I thought you said you will so why the marketplace?"

"I will yoi but you shoudn't wear something like that."

"Why? Is there something wrong with me wearing a dress? And aren't all the clothes you bought for me dresses? I thought that was just normal. What am I going to wear then?" Does that mean all this time I stood out in the crowd because I wear a dress? And here I am wondering why am I the only person in the island that wears a gothic purple dress. Oh gawd, I'm slow. "You said that you're going to teach me how normal people live, are you just playing with me then, Marco?"

Marco smiled, "I am not. I just bought things that I think would look good with you. But now that you're going to meet the crew, looking good would only bring you trouble. You should change into a simpler and more efficient clothes. "

That's such a pity. It's my first time experiencing feeling this pretty while wearing a dress. I thought I would be able to show it to Ace.

"I see." I sighed. "Formal (not to mention, gothic) dress woudn't really look appropriate in a pirate's ship." After that conversation, I looked around and realize that we already arrived at the market place.

"Welcome, Sir. Welcome, young lady." An old woman who looked like beyond her fifties greeted us with a warm smile.

"I am here to get clothes." With just this simple sentence, all the female workers, even including those who are currently talking to their clients, looked at him, eyes filled with hearts.

Wow, Marco's popular. I never knew. Well, thinking back, I think deserve his share of fangirls' attention. He IS a gentleman.

"Did you finished what I asked for?" Marco asked and the old woman nodded as she led Marco to an inside room. Marco told me to choose comfortable clothes while waiting for him to come back so I did but the problem is... I don't know what comfortable means in a pirate's dictionary.

I walked aimlessly around the store skimming the clothes displayed. I wonder why they are all so weird. I mean I know One Piece is a different universe but, still, Nami and Robin wears normal clothes. These are the types of clothes that Eustass Kid or Perona will fancy.

I continued picking clothes that I think would be suitable but I can't seem to see something that would be appropriate for me. Oh wait, maybe, just maybe, Marco's into goth? And he's dressing me up? My, my, I need to take note of that.

"So Did you find any?"
