Chapter 4

[Jades POV, A week after the party]

"Murders everywhere," The news reporter said. "Victims have been dying all over town, all in the same way. It happens at night and the victims are usually eaten. If you see this happening you are required to tell the police what you have seen."

That's scary.. Murders? In this town? That rarely happens here. It was happening every night, and the police said that it was 2 or more people doing it.

I got up and said bye to my Grandpa, and got my backpack on to go to school. I met up with John and Rose. But Kanaya wasn't there today.

"Where's Kanaya?"

"She said she wasn't feeling well today. When I asked her what happened she said that she ate something bad," Rose says. "She did look quite sick when I saw her."

"Aww that sucks!" I say frowning. We continued to walk to the bus stop and I saw Dave. He was walking over to John, Rose and I. John groaned and Rose rolled her eyes. I ignored them and smiled.

"Hey Harley."

"Hiya Dave!"

"Hey Jaaaaaaaade."

"Vriska.."

"Have you heard about those murders? Pretty scary right?" Vriska says.

"Well yeah it's scary! This is a small town and it's not fun when people are being murdered every night."

"Jade you're such a baby." Vriska says.

"Shut the hell up, Spider bitch." I say back.

"What did you just call me????????"

"I called you a spider bitch, because that's what you are."

"I'll fucking kill you, Harley!" She yelled loudly. I backed away slowly from her.

"Alright.. Vriska shut the hell up? You're freaking her out." Dave responds.

"Ugh........ Whatever." She says walking away.

Daves POV

"You know.. I wouldn't be surprised if Vriska was the one murdering people," Jade says. I look at her and stare from under my shades. "I mean.. She's crazy."

"It's probably not her.. I know she's crazy but she would go as far to murder someone." I respond.

"She probably would, Dave. Have you seen Vriska?"

"Okay yeah, she'd probably try to kill someone."

"So you agree with me that she'd be the murderer."

"The problem is, that's impossible."

"Why would that be, David." Jades friend Rose says.

"First off, it's Dave. Secondly she's been with me for the past few nights so it can't be her." Okay yeah. It's a shitty lie but it works.

"Oh. And what would that be, David?"

"Uh, dates. And other couple like stuff."

"Couple like stuff? It sounds like you're making this up."

"Listen here Lalonde, I don't ask you about your love life. So don't ask me about mine. Just fuck off."

"But, Dave, there's a murderer on the loose and we all believe your girlfriend is the one murdering people."

Damn she was smart. Like really really smart.. Luckily the bus finally came and we got on. I stayed far away from Rose. I didn't want to deal with her anymore.

It was going to be a really long day.
