Some time earlier this year,
When my heart was full of fear,
I got a hopeful message
A simple, careful passage

It was this girl who read my book
She was asking me to have a look
At her writing, which I promptly read
I gave some comments, compliments I said.

I think quite soon it will have been
Six months since she messaged me
She helped me get over and through things
Unintentionally or not, joy she did bring

I tried to help her as best as I could
Suggested poetry, suggested she should
And only ten or so minutes ago
She asks me ro check her profile, so I go

A little poem is written by she
Themed about things I know we
Discussed in the past five or so months
Words that came out of injured mouths

So here's to her, I supose.
A poem as sacred as a rose.
Undiscovered like a secret cave
An eternal struggle that's everso brave

I'm glad she trust me and I her
My friendship with her is beyond compare
With any other friend online
I'm glad out of books, she chose mine.
