LUKE

         I walk into the café and sit down in the back.

"Hello, Mr. Hemmings." Miss Dawn says sitting down across from me.

"Hello Miss Dawn" I smile, "how is your day so far?"

"Good, you?"

"Good."

"Sorry to interrupt, but what would you guys like?" A waitress with purple hair asks.

"Sure, I will have cookies n cream ice cream." I smile.

"And what would you like?"

"I will have a chocolate milkshake and some fries." Kila answers. The waitress writes it down and then leaves.

"Fries?" I ask.

"Yeah, haven't you tried fries in ice cream before?"

"No."

"Well looks like you will be trying something new." {French fries in chocolate ice cream is the bomb.com you should try it J} We sit in silence until our ice cream comes out.

"Thank you." I smile, "I like your hair by the way."

"Thanks, Blondie." She smiles back.

"My name's Luke."

"Well, you're Blondie now." She laughs.

"Then you're now Grape."

"Whatever floats your boat."

"I have never seen you at school, what school do you go to?"

"I'm home schooled."

"Oh, okay."

"Well I'll let you two eat now. Enjoy." I take a bite and make an inhuman noise on accident.

"Is it good?" She asks laughing.

"Yeah."

"I can tell, you're making weird noises every time you take a bite."

"I can't help it I love ice cream." I chuckle.

"Here." Miss Dawn hands me a fry with ice cream on it and I take it. "How is it?"

"It tastes really good."

"I told you." The rest of the time we just talk about things we like, nothing exciting.

"Are you guys ready to pay?" The waitress asks walking over to our table.

"Yeah."

"Okay, follow me." I nod and follow the purple haired girl to the counter. I pay for the ice cream and she hands me a piece of paper.

"What is this for?"

"You seem pretty cool, we should hang out some time." She smiles, "I don't have friends either." She chuckles.

"Of course, you seem pretty cool too."

"Whatever " she chuckles, "have a great day."

"Bye Grape."

"See ya later Blondie." I walk out of the café and out to where Miss Dawn was waiting.

"Same time next weekend?"

"Yeah."

"Okay have a nice rest of the day Luke." She smiles.

"You too."
