I just wanted you to know that,

It was okay to let go,

You're in a better place now,

You're looking down at us,

Making sure we're okay,

Protecting us,

I just wanted you to know that,

It broke my heart seeing you like that,

I know I didn't show it,

But it did,

And, do you remember that moment we had,

With you,

Right after you passed,

I will never forget that moment,

I was the last person you wanted to hear,

Wasn't I?

And I just wanted you to know that,

I forgive you,

And I love you,

And that I can't wait until the day

I join you.
