"Leo, are you bleeding?" I ask, wondering about the scent of blood. It was starting to make me feel sick.
"I should probably wrap that up... maybe call an ambulance."
"That would be a good idea" part of the wrap around my eyes slipped.
"Let's check on your eyes first." He took off the wrap, holding me. I opened my eyes. I could see again! not very much, but I could see! I buried my head in his shirt to hide the sight of blood from my eyes. "Can you see ok?"
"It's blurry but I can see"
"That's good" He led me to a different room, the one he always slept in. "Stay in here, I'll try to be back as soon as I can. Do not leave this room." He pulled any curtains closed after boarding up the windows and left the room.
When I looked around, there were movie posters, pictures of old friends, and clothes that weren't put away yet. I change into his clothes, the shirt and pants large on me. I laughed, it was so awesome. I layered on his bed, it was so soft. I slowly nodded off to sleep, hoping to get some sleep from all the events.
