I bring the brush through my dirty blonde hair. I stare at my reflection in the slightly dusty mirror in the bathroom. I continue brushing my hair until my phone buzzes.

6:19 pm

Jaylynn: you're actually coming?!? :))

I roll my eyes, place my brush down, and text back.

6:20 pm

Me: i guess i am.

I smile, knowing that I'm going with Chandler. Well, he's going to meet me there. I'm pretty sure.

I unwind the cord for my curling iron. I plug it in the wall, just as my phone goes off. It's on Twitter.

6:23 pm

@ChandlerRiggs: change of plans. do u mind if i pick u up? :)

6:24 pm

@awkwardfics: i dont mind ;p

6:26 pm

@ChandlerRiggs: ill be there at 7, when the party starts. as friends ;p

My mind replays what he just sent, I read it over again.

As friends.

I like him a lot, I don't even know if he feels the same. He has a girlfriend, too. But what Jaylynn said, does he even love her?

After I'm done curling my hair, I change into an outfit. Not too fancy, just right.

I slip on black, high waisted jeans, with my crop top bat man shirt. Over top, a very thin sweater like jacket that's a light shade of jean blue. I then tie up my black combat boots.

I put on foundation, mascara for my long eyelashes, and a thin line of eyeliner.

By the time I'm done getting ready, it's almost seven. I shove my phone in my purse and stroll downstairs.

"Carly, where are you going?" my curious dad asks, sitting on the couch with my mother. They're watching Netflix.

"I told you, I'm going out."

"Who are you going with? Jaylynn?" my mom shouts all the way to me.

Jaylynn is such a goody goody in front of my parents. That's why they love her and trust her. It kind of gets on my nerves.

"No, but she's going to be there."

"Fine, I'm going with Chandler."

"Oh, just make sure nothing happens. We trust you, Carly," my mother says, sternly.

"Your curfew is 11, young lady," my dad adds.

"I'm 16, I'm pretty sure I can handle myself," I chuckle, my dad not catching the sarcasm in my voice.

"Okay, sorry," I apologize, checking my phone.

A car honk startles me, just like everything else. I put my phone back into my small bag and open the door.

"Bye!"

Chandler sits in the car, waiting for me. He flashes me a smile, as I get in. Off to the party we go.

"Hey," he grins.

"Hi," I shyly smile.

"You look," he pauses, probably remembering that he's in a relationship, "cool."

"You too."

He starts up his black SUV as we leave awkwardly.

-

3 hours later...

I take a sip of my drink. People, including Chandler, keep yelling in my ear.

"Chug! Chug!" they all chant.

I decide to drink up the alcohol. Everyone cheers and laughs, Sam brings me another one. I kiss his cheek, smelling the alcohol on my own breath. I think this is my third drink.

Next thing I know, I'm wasted. My mind is cloudy and Chandler leads me to the dance floor. The music pounds through my ears, everything going in slow motion.

Tipsy Chandler pulls his body closer to mine, I wrap my arms around his shoulders for support. I almost slipped.

"Woah!" he chuckles, seeing the look in his eyes.

"Why am I doing this?" He asks in a slur.

"What do you mean?" I question, mimicking Justin Bieber.

I notice his blank expression and break from our physical touch. People still dancing shove us.

"I think," he stammers, "I have uh, a-"

"Shh!" I shush him, pushing my index finger on his lips.

I wrap my arms around his shoulders, "she won't find out."

"About what?" he asks in his cute drunk voice.

"Your love affair, with me," I grin evilly, forgetting all about Brianna.

"If I'm having a l-love affair, who am I-"

I cut him off, violently pressing my lips against his. I wrap my arms around his shoulder, heating up the session. People around us cheer. I can soon feel his arms around my waist, feeling his heavy breaths against my lips. I smile, as he presses his lips against mine, forcefully. His tongue soon makes his way into my mouth, causing me to slightly moan over the music.

"Get a room!" Sam laughs, pushing us, drunk as well.

"Fuck y-you!" Chandler laughs, as I try to kiss him.

"Chandler, I really, really," I try to be serious then laugh, "like you."

"I like you too, C-Carly," he chuckles, "I want you."

My eyes widen, "not as bad as I want you."

"Carly, you're fucking hot."

"You too," I say, continuing to make out with him.

-

I check my phone, entering his car. I'm going to be in deep shit. We aren't as wasted as before, but still drunk. Chandler's hair is a mess. He starts the vehicle.

He doesn't say anything, driving down the street.

"Why aren't you talking?" I ask.

"What am I supposed to say?"

My mouth drops, "did you not just cheat on your girlfriend?"

"Yeah, I did. It was a pretty fucking stupid thing for m-me to do," he whispers in anger.

My heart is numb, I can't feel anything, just almost falling unconscious. The alcohol isn't helping.

"Are you kidding me? You just cheated on your hoe bag girlfriend!"

"Fuck her! Not like she didn't cheat on me, either!" he shouts, driving full speed.

Did I just hear that right?

He starts driving faster, I see the anger in him.

"Chandler! Slow down!" I yell, my heart racing.

The green light turns red, still driving at full speed. A semi is crossing.

"Stop!" I scream.

"Shit!" he shouts.

Everything goes black before we hit.
