I hear his laugh before I see him, "You called for me, my adorable little alpha." "Stop hiding in the shadows, my ugly little omega," I speak lowly. Peter steps into view, and Allison's aunt is with him. I growl, "Allison would be ashamed of your company, Kate." "Don't tell me what she would be ashamed of," she roars at me. I roar, "Don't tell me what to do. I'm an alpha." Peter waves to his minions, "Have your fun." The creatures charge at the house. I run through the crowd dodging people to charge at Kate, and we hit, but she is the one on her back. Her face changes colors as she pushes me off, and I kick her in the face as I spin off of her. I get on my feet, and Kate runs at me full speed. I step out of the way elbowing her in the ribs, and she comes at me a knee. I block, and she charges. I drop to sweep her feet out from underneath her, but she jumps over me, so I pop up grabbing her shirt. I throw her into Peter who was about as happy as she was about being thrown. Peter growls, and they stand up circling me. They grab me and throw me into a tree, and I growl setting my arm. "I made your brother therefore I made you, little girl," Peter says lowly. I smirk and sing, "Roses are red, violets are blue, I don't care about your inferiority complex, so boo hoo." He roars at me, and Kate laughs, "That was a good one." "Shut up, you stupid werecat, and kill her," Peter growls. I look at her and push the envelope, "Are you going to let him talk to you like that Kate? The Kate that I knew and loved like an aunt would not." "No," Kate turns on Peter. Peter gestures toward me, "She is pressing your buttons, Kate." "She was like a niece to me, and you only want power. She is trying to protect her family, and I'm willing to bet she would have done anything to save Allison when you were awaiting to gain power," Kate roars. I roar, "You're a power hungry sociopath, Peter." I hear thuds behind me, and berserkers flank Kate and I. Peter actually looks genuinely frightened, "We can talk about this." "No more talking," Kate and I growl. The berserkers charge at Peter, and he runs. I turn to Kate, and she is teary-eyed for once. I hug her, "I would have given my life to save her if I knew." "I know," she sniffles, and the tears come as we stand there hugging. I sniffle, "I missed you, aunt Kate." "I missed you too, Steph," Kate says pulling away composing herself, and I wipe my face. Peter's army retreats when they realize the berserkers are no longer their allies.

"I know my brother is here, so I have to run," Kate says with her berserkers behind her, and I nod. I sigh, "I know. Scott told me about everything." "Tell him that I don't blame him anymore," Kate says, "I know that he loved her and was as devastated as I was." "I will," I say, "Hopefully, goodbye for now." "Goodbye, Stephanie," she smiles and runs with the berserkers. My brother puts his arm on my shoulder, "It is nice to know she doesn't blame me anymore." "Yea, I need to pick up Britney, Stiles, and Malia now," I say exhausted, "Did you know fighting takes so much energy?" "Yea, I've been in quite a few of them," he chuckles. I sigh and walk over to Brett, and he has blood on his face, and his clothes are ripped off in places. He hugs me and says, "My clothes are shredded on both of us." "Oh well. We're alive," I say looking up at him, "Let's go get Britney." "She is probably worried sick about us," he says directing us to the car. I smile when he turns on the Frozen cd and starts humming to it. I lay my head on his arm, and he speaks nervously, "Stephanie, I know this isn't the best time to ask, but I think since we are mates that it would only be right. Will you be my girlfriend?" "I will gladly be your girlfriend," I say, and he weaves our fingers together. I think to myself, "He didn't even have to ask, but I'm glad he did." He pulls over in the parking lot, and we walk to the Argent building. Walking in, we are greeted with an interesting sight.

Stile roars crouching, "I need to help my sister." "She will be fine calm," Malia says calmly with Mr. Argent behind her, and Britney sees Brett and I. She jumps into Brett's arms, and I slowly walk closer to my brother. I say, "Bubba, I'm here, and I'm fine." "Stephanie," he asks calming down some, and I nod. I stand still when he jumps at me, and he hugs me tight, "Thank God you're okay." "Yea, I am, but you're hugging me too tight," I whimper when I hear a crack. He drops me, and I set my arm for the second time. He apologizes, "Sorry, I didn't mean to break something." "I know," I say and turn toward Malia and Mr. Argent, "How long was he needing to help me?" "Three hours," Mr. Argent says. I look at Stiles, "Atleast you didn't break through the wall to come help me." "Didn't you break through a heavy duty reinforced concrete wall to try and help Scott," Malia asks. I shrug, "I might have, but that isn't the point." "I think we should go home. Britney is falling asleep," Brett whispers. I nod, "I think so too. Let's go."

The drive home was comfortably silent as sleeps in my lap, and Stiles is passed out laying on Malia. Brett pull into Stiles' driveway, and Malia carries him inside after she tells us bye. Brett drives to his house and turns the car off, and I carry Britney inside. Carefully, I lay her in her bed and kiss her forehead whispering, "Sweet dreams, sweetheart." I softly close her door behind me, and Brett picks me up taking me to his room. He lays me down and takes off his shredded shirt then lays beside me. I pull the covers over us and say, "Goodnight, bae." "Goodnight, beautiful," he says kissing the top of my head. We let our bodies relax and give them much needed sleep.
