Chapter 5

"AH!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I saw myself in the mirror. Lilo came in with a scared look.

"What wrong Mel?" He said. He still had his pajamas on. His hair was a black and brown mess and his glasses were slightly crooked. I laughed at his appearance.

"I am alright," I reassured him.  "I was just frightened by my face," I laughed. Lilo nodded and walked back to his room. I looked out of the window of my house. Mothers car wasn't here so I immediately knew that she was at work. I looked around the house. It was an amazing house. She bought it after dad died then got a job as a fashion designer. Next thing I knew she was making a bunch of money. She bought a medium sized house that was to big for 3 people. Even though it was big I appreciated how much room we had. And yet we were still a close family. Since it was Saturday, I decided to go take Lilo for ice cream. As Lilo and I walked to the ice cream parlor, I thought about Baekhyun. I thought about the amount of times he kissed me. I thought about the fact that he said he was my boyfriend. Then I remembered what I said to him about his job. I loved EXO but I was worried he would forget about them. I don't think our relationship would last long.

"Hey," Someone said. I turned around and was face to face with Baekhyun. I almost tripped over a hyper Lilo who was eating his ice cream behind me.

"I am sorry Lilo," I said. Then I turned back to Baekhyun oppa.

"Hello oppa," I said.

"Is this Lilo?" He asked behind his black face mask. He reached over and ruffled up Lilo's hair. Lilo giggled.

"Pleasure to meet you Cryss." Lilo said. I grabbed a napkin and wiped his face.

"Thanks little man," Baekhyun said. I smiled at Lilo who walked away to throw his cup away. Baekhyun wrapped his arms around my waste and hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back.  When Lilo came back I grabbed his hand.

"Lilo what do you want to do. This whole day is Lilo day," I asked as we walked across the street. Baekhyun laughed a little. I playfully slapped his shoulder and kept walking. Lilo looked around for a while and then pointed to a fair. I smiled and gave his hand to Baekhyun. Baekhyun grabbed Lilo's hand and walked to the fair. Lilo asked to go on the ferris wheel first. When we walked there Lilo notice his friend with his parents.

"Mel can I go to my friend?" He asked. He dragged me over to his friends parents.

"Patrick!" Lilo said. Patrick turned around and hugged Lilo.

"Hey Lilo let's get on the Ferris wheel together." I looked at Baekhyun and he just rubbed my back. Lilo looked at me for permission and I hesitated.

"He will be safe with us," Patricks mom said.  I looked at Lilo and slowly nodded. I gave him his inhaler out of my bag. Lilo hugged me and walked in the line holding Patricks dads hand. I watched him walk away before turning around.

"Why did it take you so long to let Lilo go on the ferris wheel?" Baekhyun asked as I went through a mental checklist.

"He has his phone. He has his inhaler. He has his glasses. He has his headphones and his anxiety pills just in case he gets scared at the top." I said aloud.

"That's why you are scared?"

"I am not scared. I simply don't like him with people that don't know much about him." I looked at Patricks parents ruffling Lilo's hair. Lilo seemed happy so I went and sat at a near by bench.

"I will be back," Baekhyun said. He walked over to Patrick's parents. Patrick's parents smiled at Baekhyun and laughed aloud. Their smiles grew wider after Baekhyun said something. They eagerly shook their heads and smiled and bowed. I wondered what he was saying to them. They looked at Lilo and Lilo smiled at Baekhyun. Baekhyun hugged Lilo and walked back over to me.
