SUPER LATE ONE SHOT. SORRY. SUPER SORRY. 😂 This was supposed to be released on Halloween, but I forgot and got lazy. I'm so sorry if there are a bunch of mistakes in this one shot! It's just super long ,and I'm too lazy to go over it a second time. If there are though, please, please, PLEASE point them out! 😓 Again, SUPER sorry!

💓 Serena's P.O.V 💓

"This way!" Bonnie exclaimed happily, rushing towards a crowded area.

"B-Bonnie! Wait up!" I yelled, not wanting to follow.

Just a few minutes earlier, Ash asked me to check the activities for the Gourgeist Festival after we left the castle where Team Rocket tried to capture Pikachu again, and Pumpkaboo evolved into Gourgeist. (They obviously failed in capturing Pikachu again too by the way.)

Once I checked the activities, I read them aloud, which was a terrible mistake. Once I read, 'A Haunted House' from the list, Bonnie immediately thought it was a great idea and got Ash to agree, but certainly failed in getting Clemont to come. Of course, I didn't want to go too, but Ash eventually convinced me to come along with his "reassuring" smiles and "convincing" talks he always gave that always won me over. Why did I have to agree so easily? I hate haunted houses. Wait, let me rephrase that. I absolutely despise them. I don't like anything scary for that matter, and now I have to head into this giant house that had jump scares scattered around every turn.

I continued to follow Bonnie until my eyes met with a building that was decorated in the scariest way possible... Well, at least that's the way I saw it. I don't know how a little girl like Bonnie would love these kinds of things.

Ash ran past me and yelled, "Come on, Serena!"

I sighed and ran after them, my mind telling me to turn back around and just head back to the Pokèmon Center where Clemont would be waiting for us.

Once I got in line, I saw how large the building was and all the special effects that were giving the building an ominous feeling.

"This is going to be so fun!" Bonnie exclaimed, looking at the entrance of the haunted house with stars in her eyes.

But right after she said that, a shrilled scream could be heard coming from inside the house, sending a shiver of trepidation down my spine.

"N-no. I don't think I can do this. I'll meet you guys back at the exit." I said, about to walk of the line, but that was when Ash grabbed my wrist and said, "Oh, come on Serena. I know it'll be fun. Just give it a try, you might like it." He smiled one of his smiled that seeming to put me in a trance.

"Y-yeah. I guess you're right." I smiled back and stood back in line.

Darn it. I did it again. I can't believe I fell for his stupid, but cute, adorable, heartwarming, handsome, charming, captivating, and endearing toothed smile. Again.

I mentally face palmed myself as the line moved up. That was my one opportunity to get out of this mess.

We eventually reached our turn and we entered the haunted house, my fears starting to creep up my arms and leave goosebumps.

I heard another scream in front of me and I screamed in reaction, Bonnie and Ash turning over to me in confusion since we haven't even made it into the house yet.
