I woke up and I had to skip school for this!
I got dressed and went to the living room.
My mom was dressed gorgeous again?!
"Why so pretty?"
I laughed.
"James said it was a special occasion"
"Okay...."
I said with a squinted face.
We drove back to the big house, and I saw a black Range Rover.
I think that's camerons.
I got out not ready to meet Cameron, he sounded like a mean person... Jocks are always like that especially when they want a scholarship.
We got in and wee greeted again by James.
"So Amber! My son is here if you want to meet."
"Cool"
"CAMERON!"
James scram not really that loud.
I just looked down.
I heard footsteps coming closer.
I looked up to make clear eye contact with a really handsome guy.
"Hi"
He said not really in the mood.
"Hey"
I let out my hand.
He looked at it, smiled and walked away.
JERK!!!
"Sorry about that. He is just pissed about lot of stuff"
We all sat down, of course Cameron next to me and my mom next to James.
We began eating.
"Well can I have everyone's attention"
James smiled like crazy.
We looked up.
Cameron crossed his arms.
I just wanted to leave.
And my mom was smiling.
"I just want to say....I love you Ruth, and Amber. So I thought this was perfect that everyone was here....."
He took out a black box out of his pocket.
I new this.
My mom gasped and Beth's to cry.
"Ruth will you marry me?!"
"WHAT!!!!"
Me and Cameron both said getting up.
We looked at each other but then looked back at them.
"Yes"
She smiled.
He got up and kissed her and put on the ring.
"I am out of here"
Cameron slammed the chair into the table and walked out.
James just looked down sad.
I looked at my mom and she gave me the "go check on him" look.
I walked away.
And I saw he was outside.
"I am not happy too"
I said.
He looked at me.
"Why are you here"
"To come out and check on you"
"Well I don't want you here , I barley know you!"
"Well I need fresh air too dick.... This is my mom too"
"Man....I can't believe we are going to be related"
"We are technically because my mom and your dad already fiancé's"
"I hate you"
He got up ,scuffed at me ,and walked away.
"What I was just telling you the truth?"
