-The Comet-
-Chapter One-
"Good job out there tonight, Comet." Ruby Man said patting me on the shoulder. I beamed up at him, like a kid in a candy store. I just got a compliment from my all time favorite superhero.
"You think so?" I asked, worried he wasn't telling me the whole truth.
"You did a great job, son. I'm very proud of you." Ruby Man's brown eyes glowed with pride.
"You did wonderful, my dear, brave, wonderful child." The Royal Dutchess eyes glistened over with tears. "Oh Red!" The Dutchess cried. "Can you believe our little boy is finally a superhero! He's all grown up!"
"MUM!" I cried in embarassment, she was going to try to embarass me to death, I just know it.
"But dear I just can't help it!" She said running up to hug me. I almost cried. No, not in glee, but pain. My entire body was sore. Everything to my head to my toes. Having superpowers, did not stop the pain. I whinced as my dad gave my back a good job blow, before walking out of my aera.
"Dee, pain meds, NOW!" I said to apparently nothing, but something, or someone heard. A little plastic cup, appeared on my table, holding two little white pills, and a glass of water. I made sure no one was around before slowly pulling away the black and blue suit, that my body now matched. It honestly had nothing to do with my name The Comet. I should probably have a bright red or orange suit, but blue's my favorite color. So I stuck with blue and black.
I whinced looking into a mirror, the bruises on my body, were worse then I thought.
Tonight had been rought then usual. The normal bad guys had been out to play, but I managed to deal with them easily. What really got me was when that damned Mentalist decided to rob a bank. He played mind games with me, and destroyed the bank, using me as the hammer. Even with my speed, he manages to catch me. Every single flipping time! His mind, had some sort of power, that allowed him to do so. What, I haven't figured out. Yet.
I some how managed to over power him, but his girl got away with the money, which pissed me off. but luckily the mastermind is behind bars. I turned off the light, bade Dee good, and headed to my room. I chrashed as soon as my head hit the pillow, for some much needed rest.
-Sara's P.O.V-
"Come on Sara! Admit that he's hot!" Izzy pushed. I would not, could not admit that, that selfish, self-centered, egotistical jerk, was hot. No! That would do to much damage to my pride.
"No." I said pushing myself harder down the field. I needed to make myself stronger if I expected to make the soccer team.
"Oh come on Sara, you know Trevor's hot. He's hotter than the sun." Wow corny much? Izzy sighed off in the world of Trevor. If she wasn't my best friend I would have beatten her to a pulp, already.
"Not gonna happen." I said coming to a hault in front of the coach.
"Very well done, ladies. I'll make my decisions tonight and I'll let everyone know tomorrow morning. It will be posted on my door." She said dismissing us. I grabbed my bag, not bothering to change. I didn't want to get my clothes smelly and I would just take them off when I take a shower, in a few. I popped the truck to my Charger, throwing my bag into it.
"Are you still coming over tomorrow?" Izzy asked, giving up on the Trevor bit, for now.
"Yupp, I'll be there seven on the dot."
"Good I'm so excited, Ron is so adorable."
"Oh god! No way! Draco all the way!" I said in fake horror at the mear thought of Ronald Weasley.
