She hid behind the partially destroyed pillar, cocking the stolen laser pistol that she held in her hand and letting her mind 'clear out'. Bridge Carson had told her that this bastard was slaughtering veteran rangers, including their entire families, one by one. She was at this particular time, this particular place...because her best friend Bridge told her that the Org would be there. Yes, an Org. It almost makes you wonder how they had survived. No one figured it out.
She had tried to go to Time Force, but they...meaning Alex...had refused to intervene. And she didn't dare to talk to her brother about it. Sky Tate would shoot her dead...or stunned...if he knew just what she was doing. But Bridge was good at keeping her secrets, he wouldn't tell SKY what she was doing. Z, though, was a whole other question.
