Mom? (Steven Universe)

Once the door closed behind me, the room made a cloud bed for me and I cried myself to sleep.

I woke up suddenly and looked around at my surroundings. I realized that I was in Mom's room, and remembered why I was in here.

I felt a little guilty about what I had said and done, and decided to go out and see if the Gems were out in the living room so I could apologize to them.

"Room, please let me go back to the house." It complied and opened the door back to the house. I must be getting better at controlling the room. I thought to myself.

When I walked back into the living room, I saw that the Gems weren't there, and that it was the middle of the night. I'll apologize in the morning. *Sigh* "I wish I didn't get so emotional over Mom, I just want to get to know her better."

I started walking towards the stairs that lead to my bedroom area, and as I step onto the warp pad to cross it, my gem starts to glow. "Huh? What's my gem doing?" Then the warp pad activates, but instead of the normal blue warp stream, I get enveloped in a pink warp stream.

"Uh! What's going on!? Garnet! Amethyst! Pearl! Help me!" I see the temple door open to reveal Pearl staring worriedly at the pink stream.

"Steven!" She tries to reach out to grab me, but the stream sends a shockwave outward that knocks Pearl off her feet, sending her hurtling into Amethyst and Garnet, back through the temple door.

"Stop! Stop! I didn't want this!" Then my gem puts me in my bubble. "What are you doing?" I said to my gem. Then a voice went through my head, Trust me...

And at that moment only one thought came to my mind...

Mom...
