Among Us [ NOT WORKING ON FOR A WHILE ]

Chapter 1

The wind howled around me, whipping my hair around my face, each time leaving a stinging pain of where it had slapped my olive face. I looked up at the sky, noticing the few drops of rain that had begun to nestle on my face. I stood there, staring at the sky. Then, closed my eyes.

How could this of happened? Such an unexpected incident, but such a terrible outcome. What had started this virus, that had so easily begun destroying the world a step at a time. Infections spreading across the globe rapidly, and no known cure? I possibly could not know.

Why, was all you could think. Why had this virus been unleashed, leaving devastation behind. I would find out, I told myself. Even if it meant sacrifice, I was up to it.

I opened my eyes, breaking out of my deep trance. I slowly turned around, making my way back to our small house. I was ready for what was ahead of me. I continued walking until I made it to the shabby house, and stumbled inside. My family was there, waiting for me. I grabbed my possessions, and we all went outside, locking the house. We were going to flee from our soon to be filled with virus infected zombies town, to a different city, safer. We had been planning this for a while, and with news of somebody catching the virus in our town, we were not taking any more chances.

The journey was going to be long, tiring and dangerous, but we were ready. And after all, we would then be safe, to live normally without a worry, hopefully.
