"Good day sir, how may I help you?"

"I'm looking for some flowers for my mother."

"She must be a lucky lady indeed. What kind of flowers are you looking for?"

"She's getting remarried, so maybe something with a wedding flower kind of vibe?"

"What about orchids?"

"Nah, she's got a crap ton of them."

"Roses?"

"Too cheesy. Being a late army-man's wife's made her a bit tough on the outside."

"Oh, I see."

"Yeah. She's got a sense of pride she'll never forsake. She barely agreed to marry again, after dad's death."

"It is a huge step, sir."

"I guess it is."

"Sir, I would like to suggest a black-eyed-susan. They would stand apart from the orchids; plus they stand for encouragement."

"Encouragement?"

"Take it as a way of telling your mother that life doesn't give second chances often; especially when it comes to love."
