I'm leaving so soon but you do not care,
I'm going away, far from here.
When I'm gone you will find somebody new,
I wonder if they will know how to deal with you?
I bet they will hear you whisper each day
And they will fall into every trap that you lay.
They will realize you're best at what you do
And feel like they can't escape you.
I know it will be easy for you to forget,
There was never a word that you will regret.
You're happy I'm leaving I know that is true
You won't even remember what I've been put through.
I will sit on the plane and think of all that you said,
And remember the signs that you never read.
And with all of the chances that you blew,
I'm leaving and there's nothing you will do.
I'm gone now, and you don't even care
I realize now I was never wanted there.
